Akane Shinjo has retreated into the darkness of another world, existing in the gaps between reality and unreality. In her tiny slice of a not-quite-Earth space --- Tsutsujidai Ward, a near-perfect composite of Nouvelle Tokyo locations with its own high school and its own denizens --- she plays the most beautiful and popular girl in school. It's all just an elaborate fantasy, though, one allowed her by Alexis Kerib, an alien being with power over dimensional space. Her simulation is imperfect, her little world full of flaws -- and every time she encounters one, she makes kaiju to destroy, kaiju to rebuild, imbuing them with her malice... and Alexis Kerib brings those kaiju elsewhere. That malice has begun to bleed into reality with his help -- especially as he has made himself available to the BioNet science criminal network for his own reasons. Akane herself is a profoundly lonely young lady so accustomed to her suffering she is unaware it exists.

  • Kaiju Seeds - Miracles and wonder! Kindling for the spark of the human heart! Akane has like sixty just hanging out in her desk drawer soaking in her garbage feelings. Whatever.

Henshin Components (Unusable?)

  • Maga-Orochi's Kaiju Card - Gifted to her by Jugglus Juggler. A Lord Monster to suit Tsutsujidai's. Alexis imbued Go'yavec with the power of this Kaiju Card. It didn't matter that much, except that that gave it a variety of exciting new ways to menace Rei Ayanami specifically.

Actual Relationships

Locals

  • Ako Furuma - One of Akane's school friends. Akane likes her, but she's getting a little less private lately, which is... kind of distressing.
  • Anti - Akane's creation. She wants to do better by him, but she feels like she can't anymore; she wants to try, but something has kept them from seeing each other lately.
  • Nidaime - A local kaiju, apparently. A bit of a weirdo... but she respects Akane's control over the space, at least.
  • Ramo Marusa - Another of Akane's school friends. Their relationship is a little weird right now, because they're keeping each other's secrets.
  • Rikka Takarada - The friend Akane hoped for so. Akane feels greedier and greedier for her care... while at the same time desperately wanting her to stop fighting. She wants to be a little closer to her, though, one step at a time. (In her heart of hearts, Akane still feels this relationship is fundamentally unfair -- even cruel.)
  • Sho Utsumi - A classmate. Akane knows he's a fellow Tarabaman enjoyer. She's pretty sure he's part of the Gridman Alliance, which means she's going to have to learn how to work him. Then again, her people shouldn't be that hard to work with. Then again -- does it need to be 'work'? Can they not just be friends? (In truth, there's a sort of... gentle reliability to Utsumi that Akane likes.)
  • Yuta Hibiki - A classmate. Akane fusses over him, especially now that his memory is so weird... He's a lot smarter than he lets on, she thinks, and he doesn't have many preconceptions either. It might be a bad idea to try to manipulate him, actually, but by this point she's committed. She thinks it's a little doomed... Vessels of Light have to die for her space to remain hers. She might need to think laterally here. (The honest answer is that Akane enjoys the chance to fuss over someone lonely like she is.)

Guests (Murder Time)

  • Asuka Shikinami Langley - Oh, cool, the Federation's here too. She has so many of the pieces of the puzzle... Anti's no help, though.
  • Gridman - Their mysterious guest. Akane's going to need to change approaches to defeat a Vessel of Light.
  • Guy Shishioh - The King of Braves. Seeing him fight at her whim was nice... it's still a little raw, though. She was hoping he'd be stronger.
  • Nanai Miguel - 'Mesta Mesua,' an outsider who insisted she needed to turn her eyes away from this warmer world. Akane thinks she probably needs to go, but doesn't have a lot to go off of.
  • Renais Cardiff - Refuses to move on. Needs to stop and shut up.
  • Sayla Mass - A hero of the One Year War (and Akane's favorite). ... she's a good person and she'd better step off if she knows what's best for her. She's really got to stop trying here, but... she's good at making it difficult for Akane to squirm out from under her.
  • Ultraman Geed - Another Vessel of Light. If he's Riku, that... really sucks. Maybe other universes just have better adults in them.
  • Ultraman Z - Another Vessel of Light. Does she really have to kill all of them?
  • Unknown ZAFT Pilot - Outsider. Bad. It kind of stings to hurt a ZAFT pilot, but...
  • Unknown Kobu Pilot - Outsider. Bad. She seemed really into the groove on fighting kaiju... if there are people from outside like that, it's much more important to lock everything down.

Guests (Concerning)

  • Arriety Hearn - Akane actually kind of likes her -- a rarity among Awakened visitors. They're a lot alike, and Arriety knows when to step off. Akane kinda upset her last time they talked, and that's kind of upsetting in its own way.
  • Gillvalis - The only judgment allowed in Tsutsujidai is hers. ... She's kind of curious, though, about how exactly it got in...
  • Rei Ayanami - ... weirdo. At least keep the food.
  • Riika Sheder - ZAFT is poking around a little more... Akane really doesn't like that. What's more, Alexis seems to be somehow involved with her now. Akane can kind of guess at what's happening, but...
  • Saraven Vai - Akane thinks her art is really neat. She doesn't want to see it again.
  • Shelby Korts - Hm, this is an interesting one... maybe she can get her to make some totally wrong assumptions so everyone leaves her alone.
  • Sumire Kanzaki - So apparently there's something up with this theatre troupe... wonder what they get out of being here.

  • Jugglus Juggler - An Illusion Demon who presented himself to her. Like her, he has business with a giant of light. That's fine, as long as he cleans up any mud he tracks into the house. Like her, he knows Alexis. That's also fine, and she's not really interested in the history. She likes that he approaches her like a monster. He's been nothing but helpful...
  • Kaworu Nagisa - Someone who knows Alexis. Akane thinks she'd tolerate him in her space more often... but in the end, she'll shut him out, too, if she has to.
  • Lamia - Someone who can get into her space. Unlike Gridman, who's only ever presented as a threat, Lamia has presented himself as a protector. Apparently, Alexis thinks he's a Vessel of Light. ... Why isn't Alexis using him to fight the Aura of Dawn, the way she used Guy and Sayla and...?

  • A Fellow Monster-Maker? - It's amazing how quick Alexis is to get the right kind of help...
  • Elisa Kafim - Apparently another voice in control of one of 'her' kaiju. Akane is... a little worried about this development, to put it lightly.
  • Grace O'Connor - It's good that she was so chill about the whole almost getting Sheryl and Ranka killed thing. Akane kind of has the sense there's something up with her...
