Background

Shelby Korts does not remember her life before the lab. Even the name 'Shelby' was a construct of fractured memory and fellow lab subjects doing the best they could with a broken child's mind to help her have some kind of identity.

Augusta was a lab without morals or compunctions; and Shelby was subjected to reckless, dangerous experiments and treatments designed to probe the depths of her abilities and potential as a Newtype -- and not only that, investigate her ability to simply read thoughts at will. Escaping the lab in the fall of the Titans, Shelby spent years crossing Britannia as a drifter and runaway and doing whatever it took to survive.

Eventually reaching space, she found herself swept up by fate and given care, purpose, and training, swayed by the sweet talk of Char Aznable and being all-in on his plan to drop Axis on Earth-- until she saw a miracle that changed her outlook on life and gave her the strength to let go of her hate.

After Axis Shock, Shelby found herself working part-time at various restaurants and kitchens on Sweetwater until she -- and fellow ex-Zeon fighters under Nanai Miguel -- signed on with the Shuffle Alliance. Since then, she's fought to save and protect others from the horrors of warfare and to stymie the progress of weapons that would harm and abuse people like herself, and seek more information about herself-- who she was, and who she has become.

MSN-03 Jagd Doga

First fielded in limited number during Char's rebellion, the MSN-03 Jagd Doga is a further refinement of the technology that Zeon has been working with for decades. A Newtype-focused Mobile Suit equipped with a first-gen psychoframe cockpit, the defining feature of the Jagd Doga is not it's compliment of funnels, but it's versatility: The Jagd Doga features an array of melee and ranged weapons of varying types. This personalization, however, has some key adjustments-- the most important of note being the psychoframe cockpit is currently turned off, forcing the former Ensign Korts to pilot via standard AMBAC and traditional psycommu technology. It is not ideal for the unit's overall potential, but a necessary choice... for now.
