A massive fan of everything to do with tokusatsu, especially the Tarabaman series, Sho Utsumi's life changed when he metaphorically got placed into the plot of a show, his friend becoming a superhero. Comfortable being the sidekick in the superhero flick, Sho nevertheless gets into the action in a support role, his eager energy and trope knowledge as well as general loyalty to his friends lending an air of dependability. Though, really, he just wishes his world would just go back to 'normal'...

Sho is incredibly genre-savvy when it comes to the tokusatsu genre, with a complete knowledge of Tarabaman up to and including monster tropes and specific episode arcs. This helps with fighting kaiju and figuring out what could be going on. Otherwise, he is a completely average teenager.
