Not having her garbage in her room is really screwing with her. Akane is nothing so much as disoriented by the whole situation. She has one bag of garbage, now moved to the corner instead of where it was left; the remainder stays outside, likewise where it was left. Part of her wants to go out there and get it back, to prove she didn't need the help.

... It's going to be there tomorrow, anyway. The Venoras will get it when they deal with the network pole. Why put the effort out there just to have some garbage in her room for a few extra hours? For that matter, why is it bugging her so much?

She chews at her lip, for lack of something better to chew on. Eventually, the monitor to her side turns on. Alexis is there, as he almost always is. "Not spending the rest of the night with Anti?" he asks. "Is it okay to leave him alone until it's time to crush Gridman...?" Not half a beat passes, before he adds, "My apologies about the car, again. I really do need to learn it properly..."

Akane shrugs. She breezes past the topic of their earlier drive. "He'll figure things out faster that way. Can't teach him everything! Besides, do you think I want him to hork up a bunch of plastic on me? No thanks." Something about that sits uneasily, even if it's true. "So hey, about today. Looks like we've got new guest number three. Like, on top of Gridman. This one apparently knows you, too."

"Hooooh?" comes Alexis's reply, his position on the monitor utterly, totally static. "A guest came directly to you? Did he have the courtesy to identify himself, at least?"

Akane reaches into her bag, pulling out a Kaiju Card. It shimmers in the yellow light of her room. "This mean anything to you?" She knows his name, of course -- but he asked her to use the card to identify him, and she can at least humor that much.

"Ah! Jugglus Juggler!" Alexis seems delighted. "Yes, I know him. I suppose it makes sense that he'd offer himself to you, first... the color of sunset does usually give way to the moon. He's given you quite a gift, you know. I could offer its power to Anti, should y --"

The girl cuts into the sentence with a sharp, "Don't you dare." Her foot slams up onto her desk, punctuating it.

Silence passes. Five seconds. Ten. Twenty.

Akane breaks it. "If he can't do this on his own, he's a pretty crappy ultimate creation, right?"

"Oh, to be sure -- but with our sudden influx of guests," Alexis replies, now that he's finally been prompted again, "you might need something to handle a potential overflow. Check under your desk, Akane-kun."

"Huh?" Akane glances down, and spots a very familiar face. "... Okay, that's the kinda help I can get behind having in my back pocket."

She gives a happy, wide smile, and it's as if the awkwardness from a few moments ago never happened. "Hehehehe... oh, I thought this was gone forever. And with enough time to reinforce the neck a little, too! You're the best, Alexis!"
