No matter what his records may say, this pilot insists on going by the name of Eisen Deiwel. A self-proclaimed 'devourer of aliens', this NERV pilot comes with the typical amount of REDACTIONS expected from someone of his station, which has only served in allowing him to make various other ridiculous claims. The sufficiently abnormal form of Eisen's Evangelion, paired with his apparently age, have however ensured that speculations continue to fly. This - combined with his involvement in some rather obscure scientific work with bio-mechanical technologies - has earned him an eerie amount of credibility at times, regardless of his eccentric behavior.
