<Pose Tracker> Lina Lombardi has posed.

                        A few days earlier

Lina had hoped that her first outing with her brand spanking new ReLion would have been a lot more interesting than patrol, but that's how the cards were dealt. She had only been around Tsutsujidai once, and that was back when it was a part of Earth. Or was it ever? Lina hated this place. Something about it was stuffy. Stuffier than the last time.

"Hey Mousetrap, how much longer do I have to be here anyway?"

"Just a little bit longer, and--

In an instant, the radio cuts off. What the...? "Mousetrap, do you read? Mousetrap! Damn." Must be some Minovsky interference or something. She'll just head out, and...

She can't. There's nothing. The stillness of Tsutsujidai is everything.

                        Now

Lina had managed to make a landing in the city's port after that and found that she wasn't the only one who had been trapped. The entire city had been cut off from reality. Great, she was stuck here in kaiju central a week before Christmas. And to make matters worse, her head was killing her. She had tried to call out to Rita several times, but either her abilities weren't there yet, or the barrier was too powerful. It felt like a limb she never knew she had had fallen asleep.

Whatever. There was a hospital here. The least she could do was get a bottle of ibuprofen or something. She was going to need it. Sitting in the lobby, she rubs her head, waiting for somebody to attend to her.

<Pose Tracker> Eisen Daiwel has posed.

Eisen isn't strictly a /doctor/. He's certainly not on staff. But when Tsutsujidai got cut off, it quickly became apparent that in a world where the people are made in the image of what Akane believed, there are shortcomings. As the rain continues outside, Eisen is standing in the lobby. His glowing right eye reflected in the glass of the lobby's windows.

Wearing a black labcoat of sorts, hands in his pockets, he seems to be considering something - until he spots Lina rubbing at her head like that.

Needing something to get his mind off of recent events, he steps over to her, keeping his hands in his pockets. Seated down like she is, means he's looming over her. Surprisingly, at her height, one would expect her to be towering over everyone here. But before her stands someone who is notably... taller than her.

Something one would not expect in an area like this.

"You don't look like you're from around here." Eisen remarks to her, his eye whirring, almost like it's revving to life. A subtle sound, but present enough to be notable. Little gears moving within. The green glow radiating from it.

"Another stranded one?"

<Pose Tracker> Lina Lombardi has posed.

Lina looks up. Black labcoat, mechanical eye? Please, give me a break. Maybe it was worth being rebuilt as a grasshopper cyborg or something if it got rid of this damn headache.

"Heh, what do you think? You the doctor 'round here? I just need some painkillers, my head's been killing me."

<Pose Tracker> Eisen Daiwel has posed.

"I'm no mere doctor, I am the /Mad Scientist/, Eisen Daiwel!" Eisen lifts a hand up partially, to punctuate his announcement of that title. Then when introducing his name, touching his hand to that glowing eye. Looking like a real... well... Chuuni by all measures. Grinning, being so proud of this title.

Before relaxing his posture and adding; "But I can get you some painkillers." He adds, as he takes out some paper that looks like a prescription pad. "But tell me more about your symptoms. And stomach issues I might need to be aware of? History of ulcers? Do you work heavy machinery?" Quick to check what kind of concerns he might need to have here. "Basically, give me your basic medical history, and the possible causes of your headache." He remarks, as he steps back a bit, grabs a loose seat in the lounge, and sits in front of her. Taking out a notepad on top of the prescription pad, looking ready to take some notes.

As much as he announced himself in that wild manner, it looks like he knows what he's doing, and is taking this seriously. "We can do this here, unless you want to head to one of the open office spaces."

<Pose Tracker> Lina Lombardi has posed.

"....Ugh, I gotta get out of this city." Lina groaned a bit at how cheesy the title was, but this was the only recourse the Green Daredevil had.

"Lina Lombardi, G-Hound. It's just a headache, my stomach hasn't been bothering me more than usual when I'm in space. No ulcers. Does a mech count as heavy machinery? It feels kind of like a sinus headache, but I don't typically suffer from sinus issues. I have a feeling about the cause, but..."

She didn't even have hard confirmation that she was a Newtype yet. What, was she gonna blab about it to everyone she meets? Would he even believe her? Lina, look at this guy, if you told him you were the reincarnation of Aeolia Schenberg, he'd probably believe you.

"...I think I might be a Newtype. This place is too quiet."

<Pose Tracker> Eisen Daiwel has posed.

Most of the time, when one mentions G-Hound to a Federation Member, there tends to be a bit of a kneejerk reaction. A twinge on their cheek. A look. Eisen instead, just nods his head. "A mech counts. It means I shouldn't give you anything that is likely to make you drowsy. There's always a risk of Kaiju showing up in this town." He answers her. "And there's at least a few other risk factors here."

He then looks up at her then, when she mentions being a NewType rather calmly. Unlike the affiliation, this is something he inspects her on for a moment. But the fact that she says that this place is too quiet makes him nod. "You're not the first NewType to make that observation here." He remarks.

"I'll avoid the vicodin then." He notes, writing a prescription for ibuprofen and acetaminophen both combined. "You may also want to consider getting your eyes checked, just in case. That kind of pain can easily be confused for eye-strain as a result of bad lenses, or needing a prescription for them." Eisen points out.

<Pose Tracker> Lina Lombardi has posed.

"Thanks, Doc. I haven't noticed anything with my vision, but I'm probably overdue for an exam. Of course, that'll depend on when I can get the hell out of here." She sighs, pulling the hair up out of her left eye and letting it fall back down. Therapy from a Gundam and a physical from a cartoon villain. This shit better be in network.

"You don't have to tell me about the kaiju. Last time I was here, I was ground zero for an attack. Part of why this place bugs the hell out of me. What the hell even happened? I was on the radio with my partner and then, just...nothing."

<Pose Tracker> Eisen Daiwel has posed.

Eisen runs his hand along his hair for a moment, leaning back. "That may be a while. The situation is a bit... difficult." He remarks. The young man certainly isn't the only one who knows of the situation. But he knows enough to explain it to an outsider.

"Basically, this realm was created by a young girl named Akane - given power by a Devil." He begins, which already sounds like he is making things up. "Previously, she was using Kaiju to change the city she'd created - including the people living within it. She has been manipulated by that Devil to do its bidding. And recently, her emotional state and desires changed enough to detach us from reality."

He motions a hand to the side. "So right now, we need to... well... talk to her. Or to destroy the devil in question. Which would hopefully bring us back to reality."

<Pose Tracker> Lina Lombardi has posed.

"Oh, yeah, makes total sense. Should have guessed." So that's why this place was so messed up. Though...they were detached from reality, presumably completely cut off from the outside world. What if Felix...

Whatever! That won't do you any good until you can get out of HERE! Michele is on things anyway. Just focus on yourself for once, idiot. "And do we even know where this Akane person is? This place isn't Rome or anything, but it's not THAT small."

<Pose Tracker> Eisen Daiwel has posed.

"We do not know where she is. And even if we did - she is able to teleport. Meaning that it's really hard to pin her down. It's... not for people like us to solve honestly. We don't have those kinds of bonds with her." Eisen answers Lina. "The best we can hope for is that she spawns another Kaiju. You gotta imagine she's around for those and paying attention at least."

The youth strips the scrip off of the notepad and gives it to Lina. "Before I forget." He remarks. "But yes, it's somewhat small. Outside of this town is just... a wasteland of basically nothing on this half of the PLANT colony. And we don't seem to have a way to get to the other side at all." He adds that last part, in case she was planning to explore.

"We're trying to ration food, and collate our resources. So if you have any special skills, there's a few people you can report to." He notes, before writing down a name on a seperate piece of paper: Sonia Sophia-Grace. "Look for this person as well, and let her know you're a NewType. She may be able to help you better than some medicine."

<Pose Tracker> Lina Lombardi has posed.

"So we're just gonna have to wait for a monster. Great. Well, aside from my ReLion, I'm a half-decent cook, so if anyone needs some pasta, they can just call me."

Sonia Sophia-Grace...more mysterious women. But without a link to Rita, this was her best shot. "I'll look for her, thanks."

<Pose Tracker> Eisen Daiwel has posed.

A single nod from Eisen, before he gets up from his seat. "It's not a great position to be in. Let's hope we don't need to start a farming community for long term survival. I don't even know how we'll deal with power on the long term. It's not like we're getting much solar power here right now." He remarks as he starts putting away his paper.

"Anything else I might answer before I check up on a coma patient?" The 'Mad Scientist' then inquires - suggesting that he is definitely 100% actually a doctor here.

<Pose Tracker> Lina Lombardi has posed.

Lina pushes herself up and tucks the papers into her pocket. "No, I think I'll be fine for now. Thanks for seeing me, Doc." It wasn't a lot, but it was something, at least.
