Doctor Salamedes is a masked, cybernetic physician who appears to be talented in multiple fields. Currently they are dabbling in helping the Sleeves through the venue of a mercenary organization of Zeonic Remnants known as Crescent, but their primary activities for the past twenty-or-so years have been focused on Mars. Most recently, it has been aiding the Martian Zeonic Remnants in terraforming and by developing new Mobile Suits and weapons, and sprinkling in other test materials in order to observe performance 'in the wilds'. However, other governmental and military organizations have benefited from Salamedes' research, including those who are direct rivals with each other.

- 0082: Salamedes completes a survey of Mars and begins working on terraforming technologies.
- 0088: Doctor Salamedes completes their treatise on safe cybernetic implantation and how to prevent rejection without inhibiting normal body functions in a paper called, "Human Augmentation Devices and Medical Bio-Systems" which becomes available to the Federation.

- 0095.5.8: Salamedes seen by Mars Zeonic Remnants in the company of Puru Ten.
- 0095.5.10: Salamedes and Puru Ten begin physical therapy in a Mars-based facility that has recently been completed.

Extreme violence has been visited upon the personnel, with no sign of survivors, and the equipment and records have been damaged or destroyed beyond repair. Analysis suggests a Cyber Newtype lab.
- 0095.10:30-0096.4.26: ECOAS finds more research facilities and military bases with similar scenes of slaughter. Destroyed research, no survivors, and damaged equipment. A single security camera captures 7 seconds of footage of a single hallway. The footage is placed under seal and labeled Top Secret under pressure by the Vist Foundation. The recording is labeled "Incident 7:7", but is known by the ECOAS forces who discovered it and a few intelligence analysts as "The Seven Seconds".
- 0096.6.15: Tsugumi receives a tour of Salamedes' upgraded base separate from the Mars Zeon forces, as well as Asteroid X.
- 0096.7.28: Doctor Salamedes and Puru Ten arrive on the Endra-class battleship, "Mithra", captained by Tsugumi Saionji. Salamedes and Banagher Links meet for the first time.
