A cruiser based on the Musai, the Endra-class was commissioned by Haman Karn to provide her Neo Zeon forces with a more powerful mobile suit carrier and battleship. It also features new engines inspired by the older Zanzibar-class, enabling the Endra to operate in both space and atmosphere. Armed with five mega particle cannons (including one capabl of firing behind the ship) and an array of multi-munition missile launchers, the Endra line is well equipped to engage other battleships.

Smaller beam guns are used for anti-mobile suit combat, serving as an equivalent to the machine gun turrets many other ships use for this purpose. The weapons layout provides no truly safe place for a mobile suit to anchor to during combat, so pilots are firmly instructed not to use 'combat deck' tactics on an Endra-class. Despite this, the Endra line are extremely well designed; many crews survived the First Neo Zeon War, and brought their ships with them to Zeon-sympathetic forces.
