During the One Year War, Alma Stirner faced the tumult of the era as part of a squad whose names have now been buried. Her path has brought her into the orbit of fighting once, twice – and now thrice, as a part of Londo Bell. Alma has changed little since the One Year War; while she’s lost a tiny bit of the energy of youth, she’s still the bright-eyed, idealistic goofball she always was. She firmly believes the world can be kinder; even if the fighting doesn’t end, it can certainly be made to create less hurt. She likes cake a lot.

Background

Alma Stirner has joined the battle three times.

As a part of the Principality of Zeon, she joined the war effort through the Flanagan Institute as someone identified as having exceptional abilities (... aaaand sold off by her parents but she actually doesn’t think about that negatively!). In the end, she washed out; she demonstrated elevated quantum brainwave activity, but never managed to use remotes to the satisfaction of the researchers.

As part of the AEUG, Alma fought for two reasons: to oppose the Titans and to see her friends again. 50% ain’t bad.

As part of Londo Bell, Alma fought because… well, the alternative was a criminal trial for aiding and abetting a defector from the Federation and helping destroy two Newtype Labs, but she doesn’t think of it that way. Really, she sees it as a responsibility after defeating the Titans. If you win the world, you have to actually take care of it after.
