Seong Ah-ri (currently Arriety Hearn) is a tragic story far too common in this age: a teenage civilian who fell into the cockpit through tragedy. Arriety struggles through school life with uncontrollable extrasensory senses inflicting severe issues with her social integration and interaction. Then, a mysterious white Kaiju attacks her home colony and nearly devours her, and only a miraculous resonance in a Biosensor-equipped mobile suit she hides in saves her. Now, Arriety bears an inescapable symbiotic bond with the biomechanical kaiju Myrmekes, who cheerfully claims that she will protect her until her mind and body get healthier. Now, she pilots the "Myrmekes" Zeta, a biomechanical monster that once was the personal mobile suit of a Londo Bell captain who perished protecting her. Lacking talent, experience or a desire to pilot, Arriety relies on Myrme and her powerful extrasensory senses as pressure forces her to answer where her place is in an ever-shifting battlefield she wants no part of.
