A promising young researcher for STORAGE, Jana Cektru spends her days contributing to the defense and advancement of the Earth Sphere with talents both scientific and military, willing to get her hands dirty to test a theory or shield a facility if it's necessary. But she doesn't talk much about where she comes from, preferring to focus on the present and the future instead of her past, though she always seems to be looking for something--or someone. Unbeknownst to most, however, Jana is not a researcher of Earth at all, but an alien from a faraway planet whose society is far more advanced than Earth's. Having made a friend of a human far away, she traced the species' origin to Earth, where she came to investigate and document, only to find clues that the Earth Sphere may be in terrible danger. She has signed up with NERV to help forestall this doom, while continuing her research as best she can, but will the people of the Earth Sphere welcome or revile a visitor from so far away? And can her intentions really be so peaceful?
