Brera is a survivor of the 117th Research Fleet, turned extensively cybernetic with what was left of him and designed to pilot Variable Frames with cybernetic based operating systems. He maintains no memory of his life before except for a single song, able to claim no identity outside of his purpose as a cyborg soldier. Often acting more machine than man, Brera executes his orders with brutal efficiency and knows at any moment his implants could be used to revoke his will if deemed necessary. Between his amnesiac trauma and being brought up as a tool, Brera struggles to show -- or experience -- emotion and human connection. But even in this isolated universe, and under such constraints, Brera is drawn to the quiet pursuit of his lost memories, hoping to fill his empty soul.
