Man Hunting

Man Hunting is an Earth Federation practice started after the Axis Shock in which police and military forces are used to forcibly relocate people to new areas, usually from Earth or the Orbital Ring to space, though sometimes to undesirable regions of Earth as well. These relocation "requests" tend to come with little remuneration and under the barrel of a gun from a Man Hunter unit. The practice is equal parts gentrification, eminent domain abuse, and population cleansing; Man Hunting disproportionately affects impoverished people, people descended from or related to spacenoids, and the politically inconvenient.

It is not the first time the Earth Federation has engaged in this type of behavior; before the Zentradi War and at the turn of the Universal Century, such practices were common.

Popular relocation locales for those targeted by Man Hunter units include Side 4's Frontier colonies, middle Britannia, and the eastern AEU.

Man Hunter units are usually small cross-bloc autonomous forces created specifically for this purpose; however, the practice attracts Blue Cosmos members and other Earthnoid identitarians preferentially, especially those interested in their personal advancement. As a result, G-Hound has a disproportionate number of former Man Hunters among its ranks.
