Axis Zeon was an element of the Principality of Zeon that fled the Earth Sphere late in the One Year War. Led first by Maharaja Karn, and later by his daughter Haman Karn, Axis Zeon took up residence in the asteroid resource base Axis, eventually returning to the Earth Sphere using it.
Axis Zeon was courted by both the Anti Earth-Union Group and the Titans during the Gryps Conflict, but ultimately sided with neither. It rechristened itself Neo Zeon after rejoining its Earth Sphere-based Zeonic counterparts.
