Anti Earth-Union Group

The Anti Earth Union Group (AEUG) is a political movement that started in the mid-0080s, as a response to violent action by the Earth Federation and its Titans pseudo-autonomous peacekeeping force. It was initially primarily a movement in Federation-held space colonies, but over time its heroic interventions made it popular on Earth as well.

During the Gryps Conflict and First Neo Zeon Conflict, the AEUG and its earth-based sister organization, Karaba, became an armed insurgency as well as a political party; their success against both the Titans and Neo Zeon led to their ultimate reintegration into the Federation apparatus, however.

The AEUG, as a modern political party, is a center-left party which advocates for high degrees of spacenoid autonomy and limitations on Federation power; these requests somewhat align with the political interests of Anaheim Electronics, Nergal Heavy Industries, and other large-scale manufacturing organizations.
