Gryps Conflict

A geopolitical conflict that started in either 0084 or 0087, depending on who you talk to, and lasted until late 0087 or early 0088. The full scope of the Gryps Conflict is unclear.

What is generally known is that the Titans, an Earth Federation special task force, overstepped the limits of its autonomous mandate and eventually ended up in open war with both the Anti Earth-Union Group and Axis Zeon. Various smaller conflicts in 0087 often intersected with the Gryps Conflict. Various Super Robot teams, including the Saotome Research Lab and the Photon Power Labs, were involved in Gryps Conflict-related activities.

The Gryps Conflict ended with the defeat of the Titans, the return of the AEUG to the Federation, and the beginning of the First Neo Zeon Conflict.
