The original Shota Hebikura was a detached and brooding lieutenant serving in the Earth Federal Forces. Dying in a crash in 0089, Hebikura was opportunistically replaced by the dark alien Jugglus Juggler to avoid having to infiltrate the EFF the hard way with any facial changes passed off as the results of reconstructive surgery due to the crash. Serving with renewed prowess, Hebikura proved his merit shortly after in clashes against Kaiju threat and was selected for transfer to head up NERV's anti-monster battalion STORAGE where he serves to this day. To the alien communities of Earth, the Illusion Demon Jugglus Juggler is a mystery from another galaxy territorially prowling the Tokyo-3 area.
