Suberoa Zinnerman is a veteran of the One Year War who never stopped fighting it. A survivor of every rise of Zeon and the atrocities visited upon spacenoids, Lieutenant Zinnerman serves as the captain of the camouflaged carrier Garancieres to wage both his personal grudge war and the greater war that the ashes of Zeon still seeks to bring to the hegemony of Earth. Soulful and taciturn, Zinnerman has been entrusted with the protection and shuttling of the wilful Princess Mineva Zabi.

[UC 0044] Born in Side 3's Globe City.
[UC 0070] Marries Fee Zinnerman.
[UC 0073] Celebrates the birth of his daughter, Marie Zinnerman.
[UC 0079] Fights for Zeon in the One Year War as a Lieutenant; is captured by Vitaly Sokolov shortly before the surrender of Zeon. Befriends Flaste Schole and Gilboa Sant during his internment.
[UC 00XX] During Zinnerman's prison term, Federation occupation forces on Side 3 persecute Globe City, slaughtering its citizens, including Zinnerman's wife and daughter. Footage of this atrocity is circulated.
[UC 0087] Is released from prison; immediately proceeds to track down the Federation officer responsible for killing his family in the Globe City atrocity and circulating the footage. Finds Puru Twelve in that man's servitude; adopts her as Marida Cruz after taking his vengeance.
[UC 0088] Is charged with the protection of Mineva Lao Zabi by Char Aznable. Assumes command of the guerilla vessel Garencieres.
[UC 0096] The Garencieres is dispatched to Side 4's Industrial 7 Colony to retrieve "Laplace's Box".
[UC 0097] During a rendezvous with the Three Ships Alliance, the Garencieres is ambushed by a G-Hound task force under the orders of the Vist Foundation and damaged beyond repair. The team scuttle it as a distraction to keep Vist's hounds off their backs a little while longer.
