Orphaned by war, Duo's been surrounded by death his entire life. From the loss of his parents, the death of his best friend, and his adoptive family dying in the Maxwell Church Massacre, Duo's life has been nothing but loss and pain thanks to the cruelty of war. With a personal vendetta against war and the pain it causes, Duo has taken matters into his own hands as a Gundam pilot. The wisecracking, fun-loving, flirtatious jokester of Celestial Being, Duo guides the Gundam Deathscythe into battle with a killer instinct under the callsign: Shinigami. When he's not sending enemies to meet their makers, Duo's scavenging and salvaging with the Sweeper Group or getting himself (and his friends) into all kinds of trouble, and loving every minute of it.
