Sizumu wants kaiju to be free. The de facto leader of the enigmatic Kaiju Eugenicists, Sizumu strikes a detached and understated presence that is often easily lost in the margins. Despite this, it is easy to see how he has earned his position among his peers: possessed of information and skills well in excess of his apparent age, he is often the final say in the Kaiju Eugenicists’ agendas and overriding philosophy, and yet demonstrates a deeply laissez-faire approach to their activities and decisions. His abilities to command kaiju are impressive, but what truly sets him apart is his rare gift to be able to understand - and communicate - with kaiju and similar entities. Given to esoteric quandaries and possessed of a perpetual calm, Sizumu’s end goal is an open question; indeed, he seems as content to associate with his enemies as he does his allies, and appears completely unburdened by the connections and events of the world. But what he wants is simple. After all, he’s said it from the very beginning: Sizumu wants you to be free.
