Operation V

The Federation's first Minovsky-based mobile suit plan, started in the late 0070s.

While Operation V is usually synonymous with the Victory Plan that led to researcher Tem Ray's development of the Gundam, Guncannon, and Guntank, as well as later derivations from each of these platforms, the effort was both broad and competitive.

Initiatives funded under the "Operation V" initiative include Victory (for Fahrzeugronne-reliant, AMBAC-driven MS); Vinson (for space-based vessel refits); and Vanadis (for an alternative approach to Federation MS development).
