Earth Federation Member Factions

AEU Forces - Members of this faction are part of the regular military, intelligence services, etc. of the Advanced European Union.

BU Forces - Members of this faction are part of the regular military, intelligence services, etc. of the Britannian Union.

G-Hound - Officially, G-Hound is an autonomous unit with a similar mandate to that of Londo Bell, created as a response to Londo Bell's heavy losses in the Axis Shock. In truth, however, G-Hound serves as the private army of the Romefeller Foundation and its Organization of the Zodiac, even if not all members know that.

Londo Bell - An understaffed cross-bloc special forces group founded in 0090, as part of reconciliation with the AEUG and Karaba rebellion movements.

NERV - An international organization dedicated to defending Earth against unusual phenomena. NERV is most powerful in Free Japan, but operates internationally as well, coordinating across blocs. [Also includes: Gutsy Global Guard, NISAR, some Mazinger content, STORAGE]

OAC Forces - Members of this faction are part of the regular military, intelligence services, etc. of the Organization of African Consolidation.

OCU Forces - Members of this faction are part of the regular military, intelligence services, etc. of the Oceania Cooperative Union.

REA Forces - Members of this faction are part of the regular military, intelligence services, etc. of the Republic of East Asia.

Non-Federation Factions

Amalgam - Founded in the hopes of maintaining the world's safety in secret, Amalgam has drifted far from its initial lofty goals. Coopted by powerful nationalist interests, Amalgam now seeks to control the development of technology and spark flashpoints all over the globe, with many members trying to break down the Federation system and its constituent power blocs.

BioNet - BioNet is a loose federation of science criminals that has recently radically increased its scope of operations.

Black Knights - The Black Knights are a local insurrection group based out of Area 11 (Britannian Japan), though they have rapidly cultivated alliances outside of their sphere; they primarily operate in the OCU. Their primary goal is to liberate Area 11, reunify Japan and restore its sovereignty, though as the organization's scope has expanded, it has also taken negative stances on G-Hound, Man Hunting, and other Federation excesses.

Celestial Being - Celestial Being exploded onto the world scene earlier in the year, declaring war on the mere concept of warfare itself. Its movements have largely kept it away from the PLANT-Earth conflict, despite that being the largest war available; instead, it primarily seems to put down disunity in Federation bloc nations while also damaging specific types of arms buildup.

Nergal Heavy Industries - Nergal Heavy Industries is one of the world's most powerful companies, and unlike many others, willing to use its industrial and pseudo-military force to achieve its goals. While it is willing to work with the Federation on issues like the Jovian Lizards and the PLANTs, it nominally stands apart.

PMC Forces - A group that catches a variety of mercenary organizations and their supply chains.

Shuffle Alliance - The Shuffle Alliance is a group of warriors that has watched over military conflict for approximately 4,000 years, trying to prevent warfare from getting out of hand. The current bearers of the Shuffle Crests are only now getting to grips with the broader support they inherited from the previous leadership.

Sleeves - A Zeon separatist group, with no formal links to the current government of the Republic of Zeon.

Three Ships Alliance - An independent corps started in alliance by three ships: Londo Bell's Ra Mari, Nergal's Nadesico, and ZAFT's Eternal. They are concerned with ending the current wars and unifying the Earth Sphere, though how this looks can vary from member to member, and in practice they're mostly putting out fires.

ZAFT - The official militia of the PLANTs. Currently engaged in an all-out war on Earth whose scope is disagreed upon; while it is universally agreed to include the Union, REA, OAC, and AEU, PLANT leadership disagrees on whether to involve other Federation nations or other neutral Earthnoid nations.
