Kotetsushin Jeeg
"Become the protector of this Earth!"
Kotetsushin Jeeg is a reboot-slash-sequel to Steel Jeeg, an early Super Robot show. Set 50 years after a timeline similar to but distinct from the original Steel Jeeg, it follows new protagonist Kenji Kusanagi as he is drawn into his role as the pilot of the new-model Jeeg.
Kotetsushin Jeeg
Kenji Kusanagi, teenage racer and high school student, becomes the pilot of Build Base's new Jeeg machine, patterned after the original Jeeg, lost 50 years ago to the Kyushu Zone. Under the command of veteran Jeeg support pilot Miwa Tamashiro and with the assistance of his childhood friend (and Miwa's granddaughter) Tsubaki Tamashiro, Kenji works to smash the evil ambitions of the Great Jama Empire!
Integration Notes
The following are some notes on what changed or adjusted in the process of integrating Kotetsushin Jeeg on SRTMOO.
- The ancient history of the world is somewhat different, though Jeeg is a significant component thereof. A Kyo player will be made aware of this.
- Build Base has hooked up with the Black Knights faction due to distrust of Charles zi Britannia and his interest in the Kyushu Zone.
- A player is welcome to app Kukuru from Super Robot Wars Alpha 2 (a Banpresto Originals Great Jama Empire character) more or less completely unchanged.
This was actually a really easy integration with very little that needed to change. Accordingly, it also has no trivia attached!
Phase 2 Adjustments
- The plot of Kotetsushin Jeeg has resolved in a way similar to canon off-camera. Unfortunately, this one isn't as movable due to the amount of geography that was attached to it.
- As a result, the Kyushu Zone has been resolved.
