Gentle Chapman

Gentle Chapman, Knight of One, Gundam of Gundams I, Gundam of Gundams II, (0050-0092) is a decorated Britannian Union ace and two-time Gundam Fight victor. After receiving the designation of Knight of One for his performance in the One Year War, in which he secured 27 confirmed kills on Zeon mobile suits in an Early Type Guntank before upgrading to a GM Sniper and securing more than 140 more (kill counts are disputed, with the Britannian Union claiming 204 while official records only claim 146), Gentle Chapman represented Britannia and Neo-Britannia in all four Gundam Fights.

Chapman won the first two Gundam Fights, but injuries received near the close of the Fight that overloaded his mobile trace suit and did modest damage to his motor neurons. In the fourth Gundam Fight, he attempted to make a comeback, but cheated extensively; he abused dummy units, manipulated fight conditions, and used performance-enhancing drugs to compensate for his injuries. His corpse was consumed by the Devil Gundam and used to pilot a Devil Gundam-generated mobile weapon.

He was succeeded as Knight of One by Bismarck Waldstein after his death in 0092.
