Gai Daido
A big guy from a big family, Gai Daido was an ordinary NISAR mechanic before developing a fondness for the prototype Neo Getter Machines and helping optimise their memory-alloy architecture database for easier transformations. His developing familiarity with the three jets lead Hayato Jin to select him to be the head pilot of Neo Getter-3.

Background
Gai Daido is a man of tremendous appetite and hidden depths. Originally a mechanic for NISAR, his developing fondness for the Neo Getter Machines and quick study at maintaining the prototypes saw him drafted to succeed Musashi Tomoe as the head pilot of Neo Getter-3 and the pilot of Neo Bear. A cheerful, outgoing individual, Gai carries with him the emotional wisdom of the team, able to balance Go's impetuous recklessness and Sho's cold tactical approach with warm compromise. Despite this laid-back approach, he is nevertheless as fierce a warrior as either of the other Neo Getter pilots, willing to hold the line at any cost and look out for his friends and comrades even to his own detriment.
It is no mean feat, to be the one charged with holding such an idiosyncratic team together. Musashi would be proud of Gai for taking to it so adroitly.
Resources
Mechanical knowhow is Gai Daido's expertise. He's the one able to keep the Neo Getter Machines flying and has even worked on the MPMZ-17 Ichinana also developed by NISAR. He maintains friendships with restaurant owners all across the OCU, giving him an easy in to the rumour mill, and makes new friends with shocking ease, developing a web of contacts to match Hayato's through nothing more than being remarkably easy to talk to.

Go Ichimonji - He's kinda like a howler monkey; he's loud, crude and violent, but on the other hand he's honest to a fault and he'll be the first out the door to fight Gore's minions. Maybe he's not so bad.
Sho Tachibana - We've been friends for ages and she saved my life. I know she's got my back, and I've got hers. She could stand to loosen up a little though!
Hayato Jin - Captain Jin came to Sho and I first to pilot for the Neo Getter project. It's an honour to be chosen to follow in the footsteps of Getter Robo. I'll make sure there's not another New Yark, as long as I can pilot.
Liam 7-020 - Honorary member of Neo Getter Team! I rebuilt his Gundam for him, and we'll have his back. No matter what.
