Bright and cheerful, Emalya has a lot going on under the surface that isn't at all obvious to look at her. Her age, too, tends to surprise people. A veteran of the wars with the Zentradi on the side of the Zentradi, Emalya was one of those to embrace humanity. She spent years away from the battlefield with her family, but years after her husband's death in the Axis Shock, she took up piloting again for the SMS--and was injured in an expedition to Gallia IV. Set to recover on Ragna, she stayed there when the expedition returned home--and when she learned of Gallia IV's destruction, she decided to make her own way home, through a number of detours that saw her take up with a pirate ship. Now the captain of that ship, the Blind Bet, Emalya has returned to the Earth Sphere to fight against those from outside who would take control for their own benefit. She may not seem like much of a warrior to look at or talk to her, but she has a serious approach to battle. She was grown as a Commander and she's taken on that role--though it doesn't stop her enjoying life, music, and culture!
