Amuro Ray (0063-0093?) is widely regarded to be the hero of the One Year War. As the pilot of the original RX-78-2 Gundam, Amuro scored more than 150 confirmed victories in some of the war's toughest theaters. He retired to private life after the war, but was twice called back to action -- first as part of the Karaba resistance group, and later as part of the Londo Bell Federation task force.
Amuro Ray has been missing, and presumed dead, since the Axis Shock.
