30 Minute Missions

30 Minute Missions is an unusual case in the robot genre: a product that, rather than merely existing to sell toys, consists entirely of its toyline. It may seem like an unusual inclusion, and really, it is -- which made it perfect as a candidate for Post-Hoc Integration.

What we've used 30 Minute Missions for is to fill out some gaps in the mass production unit list. The 30 Minute Missions units are integrated as, essentially, modern reproductions of a standardization agreement used by the Prehistoric Martian Super-Civilization. These units were originally produced by Nergal Heavy Industries, and thanks to a combination of industrial espionage and assistance from the Jovian Federation (itself already plenty familiar with Prehistoric Martian Super-Civilization technology), ZAFT has churned out its own takes on the concept. While both factions have since moved on to designs they prefer (Nergal to the Aestivalis and ZAFT to Coordinator-use MS) as primary production candidates, they still maintain a decent number of EXAMACs.

The GM-inspired Allied Earth Forces designs of 30 Minute Missions have been given to Nergal Heavy Industries, and the Zaku-inspired Byron Army designs have been given to ZAFT. As they're now generally regarded as a technological dead end by their manufacturers, they're also on the open market; as a result, Celestial Being also has access to the Allied Earth Forces designs, the Sleeves also have access to the Byron Army designs, and PMC Forces characters have access to all of the above. Celestial Being also has access to its own, outright superior takes on the EXAMACs form factor; the introduction of a third faction that shock-and-awe attacks the first two made the Spinatio and Spinatia natural Celestial Being fits.
