  • Summary: Lily has a run-in with Saraven aboard the Auerbach.

<Pose Tracker> Saraven Vai has posed.

The Sleeves don't have the luxury of being able to travel non-covertly. Fortunately the Ontarian Lyra makes for a decent cover ship. It's large enough to move both mobile suits and people around without attracting attention - and with so much packed in simple crates, moving it discreetly to the Auerbach under the guise of a routine resupply was no issue at all.

Things have been unpacked now. On the hangar deck, there are a few things that clearly do not belong. One of them is a peculiar mobile suit down at the far end, not a ZAFT design in any respect - a sleek machine with some resemblance to a lighter-framed variant on the old Sazabi, done up in a dusty lilac colour.

Most of the technicians working on the Varguil are Sleeves. Newtype machines aren't exactly common in a world of Coordinators.

Saraven isn't one of the technicians, but she's found herself a spot to watch anyway. A few crates of ammunition and spare parts dot the hangar floor; she's sitting on the deck with her back to one of them. The big jacket she wore over her flight suit the other day has been left aside, though the quilted shoulder yoke beneath it is still there, apparently just part and parcel of the outfit.

To those with the proper mental attunement, finding her isn't hard. She's a rare eyot of awareness among a sea of non-elevated quantum brainwaves, even with that strangeness to the way she feels. A haziness, as if she were separated from the senses by a glass pane that had frosted over.

She's drawn her knees up and rested a notepad against them. Expression neutral, almost bored, she draws a stylus across the page, pausing only occasionally to glance up towards the Varguil - checking on how the techs are doing.

<Pose Tracker> Lily Jung has posed.

Remarkably, perhaps, there is another unit being brought in right now. Saraven is aware, no doubt, that the Varguil is the only Sleeves unit being sent in. The GINNs are easy to recognize. There is a certain design type that makes it easy to recognize the Coordinator design style. Yet, there it is. The enormous dome aloong the slant of the head, the tell-tale signs of Anaheim designs being walked in. As well as something she recognizes within. A familiar Pressure.

There's something rough about the steps. Not hapless. Not unbalanced. In fact, they feel more like a robot is making them. Or someone is touching a steering wheel, making the machine go in a certain direction. The folk floating through the hangar are motioning with lights for the unit to step in further. An EWAC Zack of all things stepping in. Its colors are an almost garish pink. It's holding a rather unusual weapon however. Something that, to someone from Mars, would be recognizable as something that doesn't belong on this side. A Longblade rifle, though clearly with pieces patched and fixed up.

The unit turns mechanically, and makes small adjustments, before it is locked into the racks of the hangar. The Technicians float over, making sure the locks are there, before the cockpit opens. Out floats a pink pilot suit, obviously with a pilot within, followed by a yellow floating dot which is keeping pace.

Followed by flailing in mid-space of the hangar. Having missed a grab to approach the ground, the pilot ends up /slowly/ floating to the other side of the hangar. Which gets the pilot a few awkward laughs from the Technicians. They're not doing anything to help for... perhaps obvious reasons. But that Sun in the sky is trying its best to shine.

<Pose Tracker> Saraven Vai has posed.

Some things just look out of place even without a certain Feeling. A large pink EWAC Hizack variant is one of them. Saraven begins to look in that direction before the machine even enters, drawing together a few disparate and free-floating bits of knowledge to make what she's fairly sure is a reasonable assumption.

/...Pink flamingo.../

Even the pilot suit is pink. Saraven folds her notebook closed with a rush of breath through her nose, watching the way Lily maneuvers. Or tries to maneuver.

The technicians chuckle. Saraven doesn't. But her attention to the matter is tangible - if flat. Any amusement seems to stop at her person and die. Were she a songbird, she would not - could not - sing with them.

The notepad is tucked to the side before she rises and moves, the low gravity doing absolutely nothing to inhibit her. She's used to this by now. Her course is chosen deliberately, bringing her in a lazy curve up and alongside Lily, letting her hold out a hand to give her shoulder a tap - a simple attempt to redirect her momentum and guide her towards one of the catwalks.

It is coincidentally the catwalk running alongside the Varguil. "...It takes some getting used to," she says, voice quiet. "Or so I've heard from Earthians."

<Pose Tracker> Lily Jung has posed.

The 'pink flamingo' at least does not flail. In fact, after a few slow seconds, she spreads her arms and just gives in to it all. There's this sense of the sun growing calmer. Easier on the mind, as Lily closes her eyes behind the helmet. She takes a long breath, and then breathes out again. She has given into this fate of floating, and just... making the best of it. Focusing on her breathing. On the lives around her. The quiet ones... and then that other tone. The pressure hidden beneath the barrier. That presence...

It approaches.

Her eyes open, and her hand extends outwards to Saraven, even if she is coming up from an angle Lily cannot see her from. Her head doesn't turn, yet she reaches out towards Saraven in that moment. Positioning herself so Saraven can push her along that shoulder, getting exactly the angle that Saraven was aiming for.

Just a moment of touch. A moment in which the two connect. And a moment where Lily manages to turn enough to finally look into Saraven's eyes. Lilac meets blue. A heartbeat and a smile.

Drifting towards the catwalks now, Lily reaches out with one arm back, turning her body, her back towards the railing. Watching Saraven as she makes her own arc. And when they finally arrive, she answers; "It does. And every mistake I make, every try I attempt, I get a bit better." She answers the Sleeves woman. "Did you grow up in low gravity?" She then asks sweetly.

<Pose Tracker> Saraven Vai has posed.

Naturally. Some people have that knack. Saraven does catch the look. Her eyes are a curious shade of grey and lilac.

The connection is hard to make. There's a heartbeat and a smile from the side of pink - but Saraven's expression doesn't change. There's something else behind it. A flicker of momentary uncertainty before the feeling just hits her and dies with a thud, as if nothing more than a tracery of sunbeam can filter through the window.

Some songbirds cannot sing.

There's a steely click as Saraven's heels touch the catwalk, hand moving instinctively to the rail to halt her momentum. A lock of dark hair drifts across her forehead; she brushes it back instinctively. "Think of it as, any direction you move, you're committed," she recommends quietly. "Especially on ships where there's no rotational gravity to pull you back down."

The other woman's hands fall to the rail as she looks up and past the catwalk. The Varguil's in profile here, the large command antenna jutting from its forehead like the prong of a unicorn. She doesn't answer at first, but eventually clears her throat. "I grew up on Mars," she explains. "The gravity there is about thirty-eight percent what it is on Earth. Not as low as space colonies, but Earthians who come there are often surprised by it."

She cants her head towards Lily, steady eyes searching her with that studious neutrality. "...You grew up on Earth, right?"

<Pose Tracker> Lily Jung has posed.

Hanging from the edge of the catwalk, Lily doesn't hoist herself over quite yet. It isn't that she can't, but she is trying to get used to the feeling of weightlessness more. "Hmm. I meant to push off a bit harder and at an angle downwards. But I missed the railing." She explains to Saraven. "I will try to remember that though. Thank you." She closes her eyes with a sweet smile.

She then turns her body enough to look towards the chest and head section of the Varguil. It stands out amongst the units here. Between the GINN 'mohawks', and the blunt top of the EWAC Zack, the Varguil is a beautiful piece of engineering.

Lily patiently waits for Saraven to answer, taking that time to appreciate the unit. She may be a young woman, but thanks to her father's particular company, she is used to seeing these machines. But the Varguil doesn't look like it's made on the kind of base she is used to seeing.

"That's right. I remember hearing that the gravity on Mars is much weaker. Not as weak as on the Moon, but still very weak." She remembers. Feeling herself being studied, she shakes her head. "No. I am from the PLANTs. I spent most of my time within the colony though. Its gravity is basically the same as Earth." She points out. "I have a good feeling for 'up' having no real meaning. But I don't have the muscle memory yet for moving within large spaces like this. The most I did was shuttles. And I think I visited one of the Snails of the Island 3 types once."

She finally slips herself up around the railing. As long as she has her hand on a railing, she's quite fine at maneuvering. Kuma, up above, finally bumps against the wall of the Hangar, adjusts, and begins to make its way towards Lily. "I think it's amazing. When you have a skill like that. To move around within gravity with practice." She points out, as she finally pulls her helmet off and locks it under her other arm. Her blonde hair drifting a bit, but largely remains towards the back thanks to being tied into a short braid.

She turns back to the Varguil. "The longer body reminds me of one of the older Gundam types. But the panelling looks very different."

<Pose Tracker> Saraven Vai has posed.

"You'll figure it out." Of that, Saraven's confident. Some things come naturally to certain people, and even she can tell when certain people have a particular gift.

The Varguil's cockpit is open at the moment, a couple of technicians kneeling on the hatch to go over various systems. Saraven lets them work, more focused on the conversation. She turns to rest her hip against the rail, folding her arms beneath the curve of her bust as she listens to Lily's explanation. "That makes sense," she says quietly.

For a moment, her eyes drift towards the fluttering Haro. She follows it a moment even as she nods. "Mm. Every place has slight differences. You learn to feel it out. Ships, colonies, asteroids... once you have a feel for it, you'll be able to figure out how much momentum will carry you how far."

The attention to the Varguil draws her gaze back that way, to the helmet and visor. With the systems offline, one can make out the finer machinery of the monoeye camera systems. "It's not common. It was developed before the events at Axis, but it was never finished to specification. When it was brought to Mars, it was finished."

Saraven purses her lips, then, giving Lily a considering look before asking, "What was it like, growing up in the PLANTs? Did you have... many friends growing up?"

<Pose Tracker> Lily Jung has posed.

"Hmm!" Lily gives an excited and bright nod, closing her eyes in that moment, her pressure waxing again. It seems that Saraven's confident and earnest statement of belief has a profound impact on the blonde. While Lily may not be able to easily reach Saraven, the other way around is far easier.

Opening her eyes again, she turns from looking to the Varguil back to Saraven Vai. "Right. The bigger the mass, the more influence it has on gravity." She sounds rather learned. "I will remember that. I look to obtain a lot of practice!" She expresses, leaving the topic of the Varguil alone for the time being in favor of the next question that follows.

She shifts a bit, adjusting the helmet beneath her arm again, then using a little hook on her pilot suit to latch it in place so it doesn't go off anywhere. She then looks up as Kuma gets close, and she catches the Haro with both hands. Drifting down naturally from the force of impact, her feet hit the catwalk, and she hooks her foot at the bottom of the railing's bottom rung to make sure the normal force doesn't bounce her back up. Adjusting with her leg.

There is a natural instinct there from time to time. But her body hasn't learned everything it needs to learn yet.

"Hmmm. Growing up in the PLANTs... well, honestly, I am probably not the best person to ask." She admits, touching a finger to her cheek and looking up quizically for a moment. Considering the question. Then looking back to the woman before her. Her shoulders shift, the pilot suit drawing a bit loose around her. She'll grow into it in no time, knowing the military regimen.

"I had it better than many others. My father runs a healthy business. I made a lot of friends... but I also saw some of those friends stop coming to school. The ones that got sick..." She glances aside for a moment. The sun wanes at the thought. "Later on, I started volunteering at soup kitchens and the like." She explains, looking back to Saraven. "There, my friends ended up being the people who were worst off I suppose. I tried my best to make their days better. More comfortable."

/A pink flamingo catches a summer updraft./

Saraven's looking at Lily, but somehow more than looking at her. The emotions radiating off the more earnest girl leave at least some sunlight filtering through. Shifting her weight against the rail, she hesitates a moment, before attempting to offer up a smile.

It looks slightly out of place on her because it's not very large and it doesn't reach her eyes. There's a moment behind it where it seems like something is reaching out - but it can't quite make it. It's as if the beginnings of an emotion start, but can't quite struggle their way off the launchpad. An honest effort, but it still feels like it falls short. The feeling fades, and she purses her lips and glances to the side.

It always goes like this. They feel things she can't. The best she can do is a facsimile.

When she looks back to Lily, it's to listen to her explain things. She keeps her arms folded loosely across her midsection, one heel resting against a catwalk strut as the other girl talks about her childhood.

"Your family," she murmurs, "Even with all that was happening, you did a lot when you were a child...."

The young woman looks down at her feet a moment before clearing her throat. "...I don't know what it was like to grow up in a place like that. But I've heard about how the Sides were treated. About the food production quotas and the limits imposed by the Federation. That's wrong. The Earth shouldn't be able to force people to starve like that."

<Pose Tracker> Lily Jung has posed.

Lily's heart flutters a bit. She can feel the strangeness within Saraven. She can't quite make sense of it exactly. After all, the people she has been around aren't /like/ Saraven. But still, there is some recognition. As that smile shows, even if it doesn't draw all the way into her eyes, that sun waxes further. Her head raises a bit, and her hair seems to fan out just a bit. A smile that reaches far into her eyes as she opens her mouth in this bright expression, and then goes: "Hmm!" Acknowledgingly. Her eyes closing for just a moment. Then open; blue eyes staring at her as if Saraven if someone wonderful.

She then reaches out and looks down at Saraven's folded arms and taps on her sleeve. Then motions her own arms out a bit. Not like she is requesting a hug. But hinting at Saraven having her arms folded. Her own hands being brought together, but she never crosses her arms. She keeps her entire posture very 'open' in comparison to Saraven.

She keeps her foot hooked, and draws back ever so slightly to get a better look at Saraven. She doesn't touch on what she did as a child.

Instead, she tilts her body down and tries to catch Saraven's gaze as she looks down. To draw her out by raising her posture again shortly after.

"The Earth thinks it can use that to keep us at bay. To keep us locked to their control. It's all very colonial. But keep that much pressure for too long, and things snap. Instead..." She considers naming that colony, but decides not to. "And now it's become an item for a negotiation table that they refuse to come to." Lily Jung expresses.

<Pose Tracker> Saraven Vai has posed.

/Am I really a closed book to people...?/

Saraven watches the way Lily moves her arms. What she's getting at is instantly understood. Sentiments like that are clear enough to her.

She tilts her head to one side, and again there's a flicker of confusion behind a face that outwardly seems locked into a narrow range of emotions that never deviate far from the composed ennui of neutrality. Her eyebrows lift a little, but she slides her arms apart and brings one to rest on the catwalk rail. It broadens her a little bit - makes her seem less like she's drawn into herself.

The other girl's trying. Maybe that's a good thing. She opens her mouth a little to say something, but closes it thereafter. Again there's that subtle pressure - something uncertain.

The talk about the colonies is a lot easier. "...I've met people who fought in the earlier wars. It was the same then. It feels like things never change here. Even after the events at Axis, the Federation is still trying to impose things on people from space."

She looks up towards the rafters of the hangar bay, shifting back against the rail to rest her bottom and both hands against it. "...Commander Full thinks it's possible to stop it," she says. "I have faith that he's right."

<Pose Tracker> Lily Jung has posed.

Lily keeps to the railing, and moves closer to Saraven. At a conversational distance, but one between comrades.

Indeed, to Lily, Saraven Vai is a closed book. She can catch these glimpses though. Unless the people around her, Lily can read her perhaps far better than any other. Well, in as far as two strangers can truly know one-another.

When Saraven opens her mouth to say something, and then speaks no words, Lily nods her head. "That's okay! You can tell me in a little bit." She encourages her. Priming her. Easing her own presence just a little bit so she doesn't overwhelm. It's as if a Dungeon Master cheated and told their player: This person is going to ask you something about this topic, think about what you want to say.

And then the topic shifts. "The war is difficult. All of this is difficult." Saraven moves into a more casual position, and Lily remains with her chest facing the railing. This makes it so they are next to eachother, but can also face one-another more directly.

Lily also has to look up now a bit. "I think your commander is right. But due to all the history there is now... what is brought to the table will have to be enormous. Enough to force the Federation to talk, but without being yet another rock." Lily expresses to Saraven, smiling up at her. "I am sure your Commander has something great in mind." She makes another one of those closed-eyed smiles, then quiets a bit, giving Saraven a moment to think, as Lily turns away to look at her own unit. There's a beat of worry there for a moment. That little pang of panic. When she looks at that Mobile Suit, it reminds her that in the future, she will have to put deeds to her words. Her fingers grip the railing for a moment. She takes a deep breath... and then exhales again.

"So... what did you want to say just earlier?" She then asks Saraven.

<Pose Tracker> Saraven Vai has posed.

Some songbirds can't sing. Saraven presses her lips together as she looks up towards the ceiling, seemingly lost in thought. Even for those who can listen in other ways, what's escaping her is simply... reservation. The pensive churn of thoughts, not entirely certain, but neither upset nor particularly excited. Just like her expression, the way Saraven /feels/ never truly waxes or wanes - it merely floats in a state of ambiguous twilight.

Lily's worry is more clear. She looks down and watches the girl for a moment, tilting her head a few degrees but not saying anything just yet.

"I was thinking," she finally says, "how interesting it must have been, to grow up in a place like this. I suppose it would be frightening, wouldn't it? The feelings of everyone around you...."

Gloved fingers trace along the rail, then back, an unconscious gesture but one that brings the subtle ease of something tactile. The thought process churns a little more. She's trying to figure out the words.

"You're... different, from most of the people in the PLANTs," she finally ventures. What she means is obvious, considering that Lily's presence is doing its level best to shine a sunbeam through the gaps in the curtain of her consciousness.

"Do you ever feel alone here?" she asks. "The people here accept you, at least."

<Pose Tracker> Lily Jung has posed.

Lily is a listener. Though she affects the people around her with her bold light, there are others she cannot reach much like Saraven. At least, not by merely being present. But listening. Listening is what she is truly good at. To accept Saraven's reservations here. To listen to the stillness where normally, there are ups and downs.

Yet still, she is not flawless. In fact, she is far removed from such an idea. When Saraven talks about frightening, and being different, she believes that Saraven means being a Natural. Though that isn't as clear in her initial response.

"It's... a bit frightening. They all have different stories after all." She begins. She notices the way those gloved fingers trace along the rail. It would be easy to just reach out. To serve as a grounding force. But she doesn't. Lily lets Saraven shine in her own dim twilight for the time being, and accepts what she does as it is. She has come all this way, after so many years. This is who she is.

"I feel alone sometimes. And I'm not always accepted." She remarks, as the sun wanes. Looking towards the Technicians. "You are the one who helped. The others didn't. You reached out. But that's okay. Their feelings are understandable." But then she makes the topic clearer. Perhaps pulling a bit of the rug out from underneath Saraven.

She doesn't 'truly' understand she is different from them to such an extent.

"Everyone around me is better than me after all. Better at sports. Better at maths. Better at sciences and things they can put their mind. So... I think I am alone sometimes." She looks to Saraven. "What about you, miss Vai?" She is looking her in the eyes again, if she can catch that kind of contact. "Do you feel alone here?" There's this clear underline. This subtext that only someone like Saraven can hear. This waxing of the sun that pulls with its gravity. It says: 'you are within my orbit now, and I will not let go'.

It says:

'I accept you.'

<Pose Tracker> Saraven Vai has posed.

"Many came here from the Earth, didn't they?" Saraven asks with a tip of her head back the other way. "I've heard that there are groups of people who don't like... anyone other than natural humans who want to live on the planet. There have been people from the colonies who've come after each of the Neo-Zeon Wars, and I've heard them talk about it. Groups like the Blue Cosmos...."

When Lily goes into things a little, she'll pick up a brief flicker of uncertainty that fades away a moment later -

/Maybe I asked the wrong question..../

But it settles quickly, because the specifics are less interesting to her than hearing someone talk about her life. She shifts her weight, nodding along with some of the tale, only to raise her eyebrows shallowly when she's dragged into it.

"You seemed to need it," she says, voice quiet, but the question is turned around on her nevertheless. She can't help but escape the feeling of being pulled in by the gravity of something sunny.

"No, actually," she answers without having to think about it.

"The places and people I've seen here... they're much different than the ones I'm used to seeing. People have different feelings and different opinions. I've been able to see parts of colonies and ships that I couldn't have before. Not everyone loves each other and not everyone gets along, but the way they act is...." She trails off for a moment, searching for a word - but her tone still hasn't elevated much.

"...It's interesting," she finally settles on. "It gives me a lot to think about."

<Pose Tracker> Lily Jung has posed.

"Hmm." Lily nods her head. "There will always be people who don't like eachother. Some with legitimate concerns. Others with... less legitimate ones." She isn't going to go into detail on that because it's simply not important to the discussion at hand. "But ones who take it as far as Blue Cosmos..." She bites her lower lip for a moment. It's a topic that makes her feel incredibly uncomfortable, so she tries to shield herself a bit from it.

As they progress on the topic of being alone, she says; "Thank you. It is easy to think that someone needs help. It's another to have the willingness to reach out a hand, Saraven." She points out. And as they come to her statement on not being lonely, Lily lets out a sigh of relief. Her shoulders relaxing a bit.

"I'm glad." She titters. It's clear as day that Lily was worried that Saraven felt alone. "It is interesting, isn't it? To be surrounded by so many different people. So much to learn, so much to experience. There is no way we can experience all those things in our lifetimes. But through others, we can at least know what it's like. Even if sometimes, those stories are sad." Lily expresses.

She finally reaches out, and touches Saraven's hand. Had it perhaps not been fidgeting so much, that Lily felt it was okay to do so? Either way, it's a short and friendly touch.

Lily then takes in a deep breath, raising her arms into the air, and lets out a long sigh. "Hmmmmm!" She feels like she has so much energy stored inside of her. "I'm going to have to find a different sport than Soccer though, while on this ship." She shifts the topic.

<Pose Tracker> Saraven Vai has posed.

Saraven knits her brows slightly before looking off to one side. She can feel the moment of discomfort fluttering through Lily's senses, though it takes her a moment to process it. Finally she moves on past it with a simple awareness that she probably said something embarrassing.

She'll analyze the encounter later. Take a few notes on it, maybe.

Back she looks, but before she can speak, Lily reaches out. Saraven doesn't move her hand away, but she does look down at the contact for a long moment. Again there's the beginnings of a feeling.

It's not unwelcome. But there's an uncertainty there. Things only reach so far, and she takes a few awkward beats to sort through what the proper reaction is. It turns out to be another of those muted smiles, once again looking like she's just triggered the muscles to work because that's just how you're supposed to react when someone's being kind to you.

It fades away after a moment as she watches Lily stretch. For all that Saraven is a profoundly low-energy person, Lily seems like she's simply the opposite.

"If you're into video games," she ventures, "you should try Dozoo Degwa. I play it all the time."

<Pose Tracker> Lily Jung has posed.

Once again, Lily's sun waxes as she sees that smile. No doubt, there's a part of her that would want to grab at her lips and stretch them out into a proper smile. There is always that little bit of realization of the 'strange' before her, and hoping to correct it. But unlike the average person, who might naturally 'recognize' that the smile isn't quite right... Lily accepts it regardless. It's this strange mix of feelings that makes it a bit harder to read.

"Hmmm... video games huh? I'm not too great at those, but I am always willing to learn! If you play it all the time, you must really like it!" In other words, she wants to know more, because Saraven likes it. It's the kind of thing that a friend might do. Of course, Saraven has only met Lily twice. And they are by all means incredible opposites. "Please, introduce me."

The battle-hardened veteran who cannot express her emotions, compared to the bright and spritely greenling. But it seems Lily doesn't mind at all. "I hope I'm not draining you too much." She then brings up. An earnest question one might expect from an extravert who knows how introverts work. But also no doubt a subtle attempt at trying to understand miss Vai.

<Pose Tracker> Saraven Vai has posed.

Saraven's face just doesn't seem to take to expression all that naturally. She seems more than happy to stay, talk and enjoy the sunshine, though.

"They can be very useful. Dozoo Degwa helps your coordination and anticipation skills. I'll show you my copy sometime, if we get the chance," she invites, though as she does so, a thought occurs to her.

/Is that something I can do? It *seems* right./

"No, you're fine," Saraven assures with a shake of her head before glancing off to one side, towards the Varguil.

"I'm going to have to check in with my superiors," she says with a look back, beginning to rise from the railing. "If you want to talk again sometime, I would... like that."

One might read Saraven's expression and assume she's saying that as a formality. The aware can know better. She's being honest, for all that the sense radiating off of her is still subdued - radiating only in the sense that it can be parsed to an extent.

<Pose Tracker> Lily Jung has posed.

Lily tilts her head ever so slightly when Saraven has that thought occur to her. She times it almost perfectly with this sweet "Hmm?" While touching her chin with finger. As if she heard something, but it was a bit too far away to quite hear. This sweet inquisitive look in her eyes, strangely focusing on that moment, instead of immediately answering.

"Ah, I'm glad." She lets out a sigh of relief. "But yes. I am sure you'll get the chance sometime in the near future. Unless I make a real bumbling fool of myself of course!" She laughs off her nervousness. After all, if she deploys and things go badly... well, there would be no Dozoo Degwa.

But maybe she can learn before that! "I would really appreciate it to be honest. Anything to help!" She adds. Her bright eyes follow Saraven as she begins to rise up and away from the railing. "Oh, okay! Be sure to tell them that ZAFT is taking good care of you!" She remarks, since she figures Saraven means her own superiors, not those within Lily's command structure.

"And please, I hope to talk to you again too. Maybe seek me out sometime! I have my own quarters now. Or... here." She grabs a little card and as Saraven is still rising up, she slips it into Saraven's boot. "My number." Pause. "It only really works while we're still here on the colony of course. But just in case!"

As Saraven drifts off further, she grabs hold of Kumo and squeezes it excitedly. Stomping her feet on the railing a bit in a happy gesture. "Heeee!" She screems 'into' Kumo's fluffy side, making for a muffled happy little squee. She then holds Kumo out and brightly whispers to her Haro; "I think we made a friend, Kumo!"

"Congratulations, Lily! Congratulations, Lily!" Kumo answers, far more loudly.

The girl then quickly grabs at the railing, her earlier stomping having sent her flying a bit.

"Phaaaah." Luckily, she did not drift.

"Okay... now it's time to do some training here in the Hangar with this whole floating business. Let's make it count!"
