Cast away by Britannian Nobility at birth, Orpheus was raised by Britannian commoners before being taken in by the Geass Order at a young age. During his time there he obtained the power of geass but at the cost of constant experimentation. Ultimately, he would choose to run away with his lover, Euliya, the two successfully able to escape the order and lead a peaceful life if only for a time. The time was short lived as the small village they had come to make a life in was attacked by Pluton, a Britannian organization under orders from the Imperial Royal family of Britannia and V.V., which was also led by none other than his uncle, Oiagros Zevon. Upon discovering this truth Orpheus swore vengeance on those who wronged him, taking the name Zevon, the name of the family that discarded him at birth and despises, engraving it in his heart to harden his resolve. Since that time, Orpheus works under the codename Oz and has become a mercenary for hire for one of the PMC organizations Peace Mark that focuses on hostilities against the Britannian Union in hopes that his work would find those who robbed him of his happiness. Currently he finds himself working with one of Peace Marks affiliates Rakshata Chawla which brings him under the wing of the Black Knights in Area 11.
