Lily Jung is a bright young woman in her late teens, who has been known as the "Lucky Rabbit's Foot" amongst her family and friends, and seems to have drawn this reputation into her upstart of a career in ZAFT. Wherever she goes, things just seem to work out better. Some might declare this is because of her magnetic, positive and sunny personality, others say there's just 'something' about her.
Lily joined the ZAFT military thanks to her father, fast-lining her through military school, and nobody questions whether or not she is here because someone used their money and influence. There's plenty who look down on her for this, and her inability to even properly pilot a mobile suit, especially amongst the more veteran members. With her Haro - Kuma - at her side, she tries her very best: wanting to change things for the wonderful people of ZAFT who live their lives of hardship and oppression.
