A phenomenon wherein an Angel's physical structure reduces to core fluid upon death. Caused by the destruction of the Angel's core resulting in a violent AT Field collapse, creating an explosive deluge of blood-red fluid. The severity of this collapse depends upon several factors, including the scale of the Angel in question, but always occurs upon an Angel's death.
Image collapse also causes a cross-shaped rupture of energy, and the emergence of one or more rainbows. The scientific reason for this is highly unclear.
