A secret defense organization that protects the planet from extraterrestrial threats. It was initially its own project reporting to the Oceania Cooperative Union government, but moved to direct Earth Federation control and renamed the Gutsy Galaxy Guard after an expansion of its mandate.
After defying direct orders from the Earth Federation in the wake of the New Yark incident, GGG was banished from the Earth. Its successor organization, the Gutsy Global Guard, was incorporated under the NERV umbrella.
