Background

A cowgirl born on the Texas Colony, Gemini Sunrise trained in the ways of the sword with Mifune, a wandering samurai from Japan. After a demon kills her master for possession of an ancient book, Gemini makes her way to Neo-America on his dying wish and is taken in by Michael Sunnyside, the commander of the Neo-America Combat Revue Star Division. Initially working for the Little Lip Theater as a janitor, Gemini is officially inducted into the Star Division as a pilot and an actress after Captain Shinjiro Taiga helps her awaken her Spirit Power. Unbeknownst to Gemini, she has a split personality, born from her unborn twin sister Geminine. Geminine is single-minded in pursuit of revenge for her master and has taken to applying vigilante justice across the colony.
