<Pose Tracker> Eight York has posed.

The Ra Mari II's cavernous interiors make it seem almost bigger on the inside than it is on the outside--but of course, that's not the case. The ship, currently docked in Orb, takes up a significant amount of sightline. The red exterior is organic-looking--and so are the huge interiors. But not entirely; there's railings added, modular walls meant to make the space more habitable for smaller individuals than Macronized Zentradi. For example: take this lounge.

The chamber's ceiling is high, and prefabricated walls block off most of the galley from the seating area; there's a bar in front of the doorway (though there's significantly more than alcohol on offer), and tables arrangeable for a large number of people. There are people gathered all around, in a variety of uniforms and otherwise; there's no standardized dress yet for the Three Ships Alliance, or for the Ra Mari II. There are many who are uncomfortable wearing their old Londo Bell uniforms... Captain Eight York among them. The Captain who, just this moment, is stepping into the room with the ship's Chief Engineer, both in more casual attire; a red dress and white jacket for her, a mustard shirt and dark trousers for him.

More to the point: there is among the food the delicious scent of cookies. They are fresh! They are in the galley! And they may soon be here!

In the meantime there's a few points of interest; there's the Captain, already drawing attention coming in. There's the bar, at which Licia Chovan, a woman with dark hair and brown eyes, is sitting talking with Enba Rezza--the XO of the Ra Mari and Ra Mari II, green-haired and androgynous, behind the bar. There's tables, some full and some empty and some between. And of course, there's the view of the ocean out beyond...

The handiwork of a certain Chief Morale Officer* is already starting to pay off!

*May not be official. Maybe.

<Pose Tracker> Rena Lancaster has posed.

Rena is taking some time getting used to the Ra Mari II. The sheer cavernous size of the ship is a little overwhelming, but having her own spacious quarters is nice. It's a far cry from a Federation warship. Right now, she is wearing a button-up black shirt, untucked, with white pants.

She is also sitting in the galley, leaning against a table, and looking tired. She is wearing an apron, which has two Dozoo Degwa characters bobbing up and down.

Baking cookies for three ships' worth of pilots is a lot of work.

But it is done! And she looks tired, but proud of herself. There is even a beer next to her. "Aaah..."

<Pose Tracker> Yurika Misumaru has posed.

"Oh my gosh, it's so huge!" is Captain Misumaru's first exclamation of surprise and awe at the looming sight of the Ra Mari II. She's not at all changed from her usual captain's attire, freely branded with Nergal's logo - it helps that it's like, the most fashionable uniform in the business right now. (Nergal's very good at PR in this way.)

"It's gigantic even on the inside too-!" is her second exclamation, eyes fixed on the towering ceilings above, enough to bump into people from time to time.

"Oh! There's even cookies-!" is her third exclamation, cheerily taking a bit bite out of a largely chocolate one, nibbling away as she takes the tour.

"Oh oh oh! Someone take a picture of me by the window-!" With her entourage of crewmates in tow, Yurika strikes an elegant, yet ever so slightly wistful pose against the distant sea, reaching out to it in what would surely make for an excellent promotional image, before finally honing in on Captain York.

"Where'd you even get this ship? Did something bad happen to the Ra Mari? Or...or did it naturally grow this big? Evolution!? Will the Nadesico one day blossom too?!" There's a much more honed look in her eyes assessing the almost organic-looking shapes of various parts of the ship - oh no, it did somehow evolve...!?

<Pose Tracker> Ruri Hoshino has posed.

The Nadesico is also docked in Orb -- and dwarfed by the Ra Mari II, to note. Ms. Howmei and her girls (the Howmei Girls) have come over to help with the cooking, and they're not the only ones from their fellow ship, here now.

Like Ruri Hoshino, the Nadesico's systems operator, who is even smaller than normal in this ship. (Subsequently, she does not have any alcohol from the bar, because no one is giving a beer to a 13-year-old. She has some lemonade, instead.) She's in a pale blue sundress, still more colourful than her blue-white hair all up in twintails. Could this be... solidarity with Eight?!

She goes to sit in the galley, and nibbles on a cookie.

"They're very good, Rena-san," she says to the woman sitting near her, and Rena, too, gets referred to on a first-name basis now. (More or less. She borrows the Japanese honourifics to keep a little distance.)

And then, to Yurika, she says: "Fool. The Ra Mari took heavy damage during the defence, but luckily, Eight-san was working on something secret like this. Captain, I hope you don't think the Nadesico works like that." Withering as always...

(Jun Aoi, Yurika's XO in his own Nergal uniform, naturally takes a snapshot of Yurika by the window. He goes, 'oooh, ahhhh!!' as he does it, because he thinks she's stunning. the camera doesn't linger on him at all.)

<Pose Tracker> Riika Sheder has posed.

Riika Sheder has never been to Earth when she wasn't, technically, a wanted enemy combatant. She supposes that is still true, but on the Ra Mari II it doesn't feel like that, and she's interested in meeting her compatriots. But she's run into one very important question:

What do you wear to a meeting like this?

Her ZAFT uniform certainly isn't appropriate, even though she earned that and only had it taken away because of the mechinations of what seems to be a conspiracy. The mechanic's suit she's borrowed for the last while seem way too informal, or way too workmanlike, depending on which way she looks at it. Most of her civilian-styled clothes are either on the PLANTs or ZAFT ships (she really needs to go shopping). And she's not going to show up at a social gathering in a normal suit. So she had to improvise.

Riika is wearing a dark red skirt and black leggings that looks suspiciously like they were borrowed from the ZAFT uniform. Her boots are *definitely* borrowed from her uniform. The top, though, is not; a silvery-grey blouse with short sleeves. It's not entirely her colour but it was quite possibly the only one she had on hand, since she hasn't exactly made time to go out and shop. (She doesn't want to use her PLANTs credit account in case they realize that she is, in fact, not actually dead, so what would she buy it with anyway?)

"I think that's just the way Zentradi construction looks," she assures Yurika, having heard that much. "Ah, hello, Captain, Captain," that's Eight and Yurika, "and Systems Operator." There's a bit of awkwardness there...

...which is only made worse when she dips into a bow. "I'm really sorry about the last time I was on the Nadesico! I didn't mean to have them come and do that. I hadn't even met that rabbit before, I swear!"

This is probably completely nonsensical to everyone else, but it makes sense to Riika, and presumably the Nadesico crew too.

<Pose Tracker> Anita Rosetta has posed.

Anita has already gotten herself settled into the Ra Mari II. She's always been the type to take things in stride, and while she does still have some conerns, the Ra Mari II is at least for now well-equipped enough to deal with them so she's able to relax. Which is good, because relaxing is one of her favorite things to do.

It shows in her current outfit - a dark blue hoodie and a pair of jeans. She's always been the type to prioritize comfort above all else, and she's currently relishing this time she has left while they still haven't settled on a uniform.

She leans back in her chair, sipping at her beverage - a brightly-colored and very sweet mixture of fruit juices. Alcohol doesn't do much for her the way her cybernetics work, but they do handle sugars pretty well.

"Yeah, Rena, you really outdid yourself this time." Anita agrees with Ruri, raising her glass to Rena before taking another sip.

Anita hasn't really done anything to help prepare - she's not much of a cook or a baker, herself, so her role will come around when it's time to clean up afterward. That's what she's good at.

She chuckles at Yurika's excited barrage of questions and glances toward Eight, curious to see how she responds... before her gaze eventually falls on Riika, an eyebrow raised.

...There's definitely a story, there.

<Pose Tracker> Eight York has posed.

"The 'Ra Mari' is undergoing pretty serious repairs--it was heavily damaged in the battle." 'The' battle. 'That' battle. But Eight smiles anyway. She appreciates Yurika's effortless elegance...

"We actually salvaged it from Denver Colony. Lavhi--Mr. Orlodhari--and a lot of the crew have been working on it for a while now. We were trying to be prepared for the worst. And, well..." She gestures.

Ruri had it covered anyway. Eight smiles at her. "It's a long story!" Lavhi considers. "Not that long," he says. "You have told most of it already!"

"And they're great, Rena!!" Eight has somehow acquired a cookie and eaten half of it in the space of an instant. She beams at Anita. "Mm! Rena's cooking is the best..." She grins at her.

She gets a drink, too. Lemonade! Not beer. She doesn't drink beer.

"Ms. Sheder's right though!" Riika is using 'Captain', so Eight can keep being polite. It's definitely... different, from how it was before, though. "This is just how it looks. Lavhi tells me from the system logs it predates the Zentradi meeting humans in the first place."

"Yes," he chimes in at this point. "But we have modernized her systems! We blend the old and the new... It is poetic, yes?"

Then Riika... bows. And apologizes. Eight is admittedly a little baffled. But she looks to Anita, as if in question, and then back to Riika.

"...Rabbit?"

It's probably not her business, but Eight is a little nosy.
BC-001 Minae teleports in.

<Pose Tracker> Rena Lancaster has posed.

"G...grow this big?" Rena asks, staring at Yurika with wide eyes. She stares at the Nadesico's captain for a moment. Then, she looks to Ruri. She brightens at the compliment.

"Thank you!" she says. "I'm glad. Orb has access to some really nice ingredients. Maybe because it's Earth, but..." She sighs, happily. "...It makes for better cookies, that's for sure!"

Then she looks at Riika.

"Hi, Riika?" she says. "Cookie?" She extends a cookie towards her. "...rabbit? Was there a rabbit?"

Then, she looks back at Anita -- and she smiles at her, before she takes a sip of her beer. "Thanks, Annie," she says. "I'm glad you think so. I..." She looks at Eight, before she cracks a smile. "The Ra Mari II is amazing. I'm really impressed. Especially because we did it in secret..."

<Pose Tracker> Yurika Misumaru has posed.

Cookie #1 is provided an inch from Ruri's face.

"Woooow...wait, that's right! A long, long, long, long, looooooong time ago, I think I saw a ship kinda like this!" Yurika has two fingers against her temples, eyes squeezed shut to push forth the memory. "Yeah, I think there's one of these on Mars! Well. There was one of these on Mars. Maybe the Jovian Lizards destroyed it! If I were a Jovian Lizard I'd probably try! Wait, could I even be one?! Hmgnhnhnhh...."

Rabbit. ...rabbit? "Rabbit!?" A hand over Yurika's mouth as she points to Riika. "Rabbit! That's right! Who / WHAT in the world even was that?! Was that big rabbit plush /always/ a friend of yours!? I'm pretty sure I gave it a big old squeeze once before and it didn't have a guy in it..."

A sudden pause. "...Wait!!! You're that girl from ZAFT-! Wait wait what!? Eh!? Why are you here? ...it's not that thing where people get attached to places they were imprisoned by, right? Even I know that's not actually real! Unless the Nadesico really is that comfy!? ...Right! It's the comfiest ship in space! So maybe the brig is so cushy that you missed it when you got back to your actual ship!?"

To Anita's confounded expression, she does quickly explain, "Right! One time Riika-chan got all caught up in a fight and we held her on board the ship! But then like magic, a plushie rabbit became a real human, and busted her out! It was all very confusing but I swear I'm not making it up!"

<Pose Tracker> Hikaru Amano has posed.

A solid few minutes after most of the rest of the Nadesico crew members arrived, there's another flash of red in the Ra Mari lounge... it's Hikaru Amano, ace Aestivalis pilot, currently totally out of breath.

"Oh gosh, this ship is SO BIG. I got a little lost... then a little late. Sorry!" A quick salute at Eight, before she takes her place next to Yurika.

Hikaru takes a cookie, then listens to the current conversation about how big the ship is, and if the Nadesico could grow that big. "I dunno if my poor lungs could take living on a ship so big... maybe we need a different gimmick for the Nadescitwo!" Hikaru laugh-sighs at Yurika's proposition.

Ah, and Riika Sheder, fellow glasses-girl and unfortunately former prisoner of the Nadesico. "It was definitely like the plot of an anime!" Hikaru chimes in, about the story about the rabbit. "But this was real life, so I'm totally stumped too. Tell us your secrets, Riika-chan~"

And then Hikaru realizes there's plenty of people in the Three Ships Alliance who don't recognize her, and showing up late definitely didn't help matters. "Oh, right! I'm Hikaru Amano, Nadesico pilot, future mangaka. My favourite show is Gekiganger, and my favourite foods are soggy rice crackers and pizza crusts." So she makes her stock introduction to anyone who would listen. "Very much looking forward to getting to know you all~ and I promise I'm not always this late!"

<Pose Tracker> Ruri Hoshino has posed.

Ruri notices the half-a-uniform, but she elects not to comment, because Riika, on her approach, is clearly making some effort to make it look not like her uniform. Could it be... she's learning tact and kindness?!

Or maybe she's just busy with her cookie. Nom nom nom.

She lowers it (and swallows!) when Riika says hello, though. "Hello," she says, with her typical flat expression. She, too, feels a little awkward, but it doesn't show.

Blink, blink, blink, the shadow of surprise crosses onto her stoic face as Riika bows. "That fool..?" She asks, lightly. Yurika has quite a take on what happened, and Ruri just sighs. She offers that flat look to Anita, because she can't explain this at all.

A moment more of silent deadpanning at Yurika, and she shifts her attention back to Riika. "They're very good," she says, of the cookies. "And I'm happy you're okay." She still looks just as flatfaced as ever, but she is relieved to see her still whole, even so.

She looks to Hikaru, though, and echoes: "Nadescitwo... Nadesci-crew... Nades-bamboo... Nadeja-vu..."

<Pose Tracker> Riika Sheder has posed.

Riika feels increasingly obligated to explain, with the Ra Mari crew having no idea what she's talking about. Unfortunately, she is busy dealing with her second interaction with Yurika, ever.

"What - no, it's not actually like that! I'm here because I want to be," Riika says, taken aback. "I am from ZAFT, it's true, but actually the Ra Mari rescued me from space. There were... I'd rather not get into it right here, but there are reasons I'm not with ZAFT anymore, and in any case, I agree with what Captain York is doing. And everyone else. It's not anything like that..."

Riika trails off, attempting to regain some composure. It halfway works. "I was a... prisoner on the Nadesico once," she explains. "I surrendered and I didn't want to go onto a Britannian ship. The ZAFT agent that managed to get in to get me out infiltrated in a rabbit suit. Like, a mascot. I have no idea where he got it or why but he did the whole flight in it. That's really all I can say about it. I didn't know him before and I don't know how he got on the Nadesico, even. He said a man needed some secrets."

"It's good to see you again, too. I didn't mean to cause quite that much of a fuss." Even though Riika was, at the time, an enemy combatant. "Oh, are they? Thank you." She takes one of the cookies, though she doesn't immediately try it. "Anyway, I've been on the Ra Mari for some time, but it wasn't a good idea to tell anyone, so... we didn't. Since before Denver Colony, though."

<Pose Tracker> Anita Rosetta has posed.

Anita nods as Eight recounts the story of how the Ra Mari II came to be. It was so secret that even she didn't know about it - only that they were working on something.

She couldn't have imagined it was this, though she was sure impressed when she saw it.

"Agreed." Anita says with a nod toward Eight, and then sends a smile Rena's way.

"Well, the ingredients help, I bet... but the baker's skills really make a difference, too." She says.

Her attention goes back to Yurika and... well, it's not the kind of explanation she expected. She meets Ruri's look with a look of her own. It must be that kind of thing...

"It's cool, it's cool. I believe you." Anita replies reassuringly, as Yurika swears she didn't make it up. "...I don't get it, but I believe you."

Riika gives her explanation and this, at least, is easier to understand. Anita nods.

"Okay, that I can get. ...Opens up a whole lotta other questions, but we can worry about those some other time." Anita replies.

This is around the time that Hikaru arrives late! A hand, the one currently not being used to hold her drink, emerges from a hoodie pocket to offer her a wave of greeting.

"Hey, Hikaru. Good to see you" Anita greets. Her greeting doesn't get much of a response from her. This could be chalked up to Anita's usual unflappable nature, but... in reality, this is only because she's already heard it once before. She does look to see how everyone else reacts. Ruri's wordplay gets a slight smile out of her, too.

<Pose Tracker> Eight York has posed.

"We're definitely taking advantage of the good ingredients while we can! They've given us some seeds, too..."

She smiles at Rena, again. It's easy to smile at Rena, for her. "I'm glad you like her!" Eight says. "We're gonna get real familiar if things go how I expect..."

Orlodhari nods solemnly. "Truthfully, it was mostly due to how much salvage we had available for use. Now that we have Orb's support we can do much to improve our facilities."

Eight nudges him. "It's also because you're really good at this," she points out.

"...I do my best."

Rabbit... Yurika explains. Eight winces, at what she assumes, because she knows the truth. It's visible! But then she explains about the rabbit, and....

"I mean, I guess I like a little mystery in a man," Eight admits, "But a bunny suit is... a lot of mystery..."

She smiles at Hikaru, and waves pleasantly back. "No problem." She's not in uniform, so she's not too worried about decorum. "We're getting transport set up between the decks--something a little better than 'hope you can walk it'. So it should be easier."

Nadesitwo... Ruri's wordplay gets a laugh out of Eight. "Nice."

"But yeah," she says of Riika. "Sorry about all the secrets, but... it would've been a big problem if it'd been leaked. If any of this stuff had been." She looks to Annie in particular at that, but not just her. "But we can answer a lot of things soon."

Licia waves over at Hikaru, too!! But winks--and goes back to talk over a drink to Enba. She may be busy.

"...I've been expecting trouble with the Federation for a while," Eight admits. "Since the rumors got out about my past, and I saw how people reacted... Bright Noa could only shield me for so long." She doesn't go into it--it'd be unpleasant--but...

"...The Nadeisco is pretty comfy, though. We've got big rooms, but we don't have facilities like that. The Nadesico's pretty special, too..." She smiles.

<Pose Tracker> Rena Lancaster has posed.

"You saw a ship like this on Mars?" Rena asks, with a blink of her eyes. She feels a little surprised by that -- but come to think the Zentradi had passed by Mars. Then, she blinks.

"Ah--Riika's been a huge help!" Rena says. "And... it doesn't matter where we're from, originally, right? We're all in this together, now. To... to protect Orb, to try to stop the war from going totally out of control. So ZAFT, Federation, it's... well, no, it does matter. But we're together, now, and that matters too!"

She says it happily.

Then, she looks at Hikaru -- and Rena smiles, lifting her hand and waving. "Hello!" she says. "Um, those all sound fun! I'm Rena Lancaster. I said hi to you. You're a mangaka?"

Then she looks back at Riika. She blinks. "That was--" That was the time on the Moon. Rena told a Britannian ship that Londo Bell approved of transferring her to the Nadesico. "That's... kind of incredible?"

She looks at Anita, then, and she blinks her eyes at her once. How did she take the rabbit in stride, though?

Then, she looks back at Eight. She nods her head. "I'm glad you were ready. And that, um... we're all in this together." She looks between them. "It's going to be really helpful. Since... we've got a pretty big task ahead of us, right?"

She chomps into a cookie then.

<Pose Tracker> Yurika Misumaru has posed.

Cookie #2 is quickly ferried towards Ruri-ruri once the first one is done. This time it's cinnamon! Yurika is hardly going to bore her technical officer with sameyness.

"I did! Well! I think. It was when I was a very tiny kid! A lot of Zentradi actually live out on Mars. It might not have been this exact class of ship, but for some reason the way it looks from the outside felt...familiar, in a way, from way back when! Didn't see it flying though, so it might've been a wreck that they repurposed into living in," Yurika recollects to Rena.

Riika earns a bit of a curious peering from multiple angles, befooooore - a hand is offered forth, with her most brimming, enthusiastic smile. "Well, if Captain York trusts you, I think I can too! The time's come for pretty risky behavior, and part of me is a little bit careful not to compound risks - but I remember a lot of my crewmates being a bit fond of you, so I'm choosing to trust you! Let's keep the world safe - together!"

Theeeere's that ridiculously TV-friendly aura of super-diplomacy. When the words line up, orator-power flares up like a sunrise out of Captain Yurika-

"Hikaruuuuu!! If the Nadesico were twice as big, we'd simply get around on cute little scooters! Size can be an opportunity, not a challenge!!"

        ...and it's gone again. Nyoro~n.

<Pose Tracker> Hikaru Amano has posed.

"Nadestouche..." Hikaru groans in defeat, at Ruri's masterful wordplay.

Hikaru, for all her lateness, receives waves and hellos from several people! Some are already busy with their own conversations, but Rena asks about being a mangaka. "Yeah! Well.. I haven't exactly gone professional yet." Hikaru adds, sheepishly. "I've been working on Gekiganger doujinshi, or fanwork, for a while. I'm hoping to make my big splash at the next Comiket!" And just as quickly, that enthusiasm returns. "I hope you'll check it out if you're interested~"

Hikaru for one, doesn't hold any particularly hard feelings against Riika, either, despite being enemies at some point. Her story is definitely an intriguing one, too... "Hmm, I can't argue against that." Hikaru shrugs. "Men are a lot more interesting with a few secrets." She giggles.

"Cute little scooters, huh..." Hikaru seems to actually consider Yurika's point, silly as it sounds. "Yeah! Guess that type of clever thinking is why they went and made you captain."

<Pose Tracker> Ruri Hoshino has posed.

Ruri nods, to Anita's smile. She's not much of a smiler, herself, but she sees the recognition.

"I don't understand men," she says, archly, of the Mysterious Bunny Boy. A beat: "That's what Minato-san would say, anyway." Oh, good. Ruri's just echoing the people around her and hasn't yet started considering Boys. (Is that really going to be a problem..?)

She looks from Riika, to Rena, and says: "People are people are people. Right, Captain?" For all her trash-talk to Yurika, Ruri still looks to her for confirmation, as she pontificates on everyone being in this together.

Ruri looks to Eight, though, and says: "You've been taking care with a lot of things." 'Of' might flow better, in that sentence -- but it's not what Ruri means, so it's not what Ruri says. And she might be thinking of Riika, as she says it, but the Ra Mari II is up there too.

She nibbles the cookie Yurika offers her. It's good.

"Omoikane likes it," she says, mysteriously, on the topic of Hikaru's doujinishi. The computer is her fun little friend. It might just be a fabrication of a young mind. (It isn't.)

<Pose Tracker> Riika Sheder has posed.

Riika is not immune to charm.

"Thank you, Captain," she says, with a bright smile of her own - apparently she can turn the charm on too when she wants to. "I'm not the only person from the PLANTs here, after all. Though I don't think I'd describe myself as working for ZAFT at the moment any more than Captain York is 'working for' the Federation..."

They've made it very clear they don't want here there, after all. She rubs her left hand with her right, apparently without realizing it.

"But I agree with Ruri!" Not a title, this time. "People are people. That's part of why I'm here, really. I don't agree with splitting us - Earthnoid and Spacenoid, Natural and Coordinator. So - well, this is a fun time, I shouldn't say such serious things!"

She glances at Hikaru again. "Gekiganger, huh? I've actually seen that."

<Pose Tracker> Anita Rosetta has posed.

"Oh, seeds too, huh? We'll have to take good care of those." Anita comments with interest. She smiles slightly at the back and forth between Eight and Lavhi - and then at Rena, as she speaks.

They're all in this together, united even through their different origins...

"Well said." Anita replies with a proud nod.

Ruri says that 'people are people are people', and Riika agrees. Anita nods along with this. ...That point of view is very important to her, too.

"...Yeah. That's the way to look at it." She agrees.

<Pose Tracker> Eight York has posed.

"Right," Eight agrees. "That division... We don't need it."

"It matters, sure," she agrees with Rena. "Where we come from is important, too. ...But it's where we choose to go that matters most."

Oooh, mangaka. Eight missed that one! "I haven't seen Gekiganger," Eight admits, "But it's wonderful to do so much stuff you're interested in. If you like it so much, maybe I should try it!"

Eight nods firmly at Hikaru. Is it for the mystery, or for Yurika being clever? It could be both!

"It is very possible," Lavhi agrees with Yurika meanwhile. "It is nice that you met some of my people there."

But she smiles. Super diplomacy...

'That's what Minato would say.' "I get them okay," Eight answers, nudging Lavhi. "Or at least, this one!"

But Ruri.. Ruri says exactly what Ruri means. Eight is quiet for a moment. "...A lot of things depend on me," she says. "I have to take care." Pause. "Oh, but don't worry! I'll let my friends help!"

She adds that awfully quick, though...

Omoikane!!

"Yeah!" Eight agrees with Riika, too. "And there'll be more. ...Though you're right about that, too..." Pause. Gegiganger... "Oh, have you? What's it like?"

She nos at Anita. "Yeah," she says, of the seeds. "...And that'll help us take care of the crew."

<Pose Tracker> Yurika Misumaru has posed.

"The secret to men," oh god no Yurika please "Is that they're terrible at keeping secrets, but amazing at enacting secrets. The secrets of women linger and nurture into radiant, silvery webs of connections and intrigue that may take decades to be acted upon, if ever at all. The moment you give a man a mask though, he's off to the races acting like he has one of those power-ups in a video game that make you glowy and destroy everything you touch!" She mimes the sound of the little jingle. Yes that one. "And then it runs out and he trips over a little guy and dies. Ohhh! Mama mama." she was so close.

What was going on? Oh right! Cookie #3 Ruri's way. This one, by sheer coincidence, is star-shaped! "Mmm. Where we come from...is something we carry in our hearts. But those disparate places, with their many differences, often have to come together. When I was a little girl, I'd hoped those days on Mars would never end. That we'd made something perfect forever and ever that we'd share with our children, who'd share it with their children, and nothing outside it mattered. But! It definitely wasn't perfect. It definitely wasn't forever! And if we want a slice of that ever again, we have to hold hands with people who've lost something similar - or maybe even never knew something similar.

Comiket comes up though, and Yurika immediately gets big old starry star-shapes in her eyes, ever so slightly bent over (she has never learned how to talk to shorter people!) at Hikaru. "Oh!! They didn't have anything like Comiket on Mars though!! If we have the free time, please please please take me! Especially - ESPECIALLY-! If you want to do that thing! Where they promote all their comics with dressing up like girls on the front cover! I'm SO good at wearing all kinds of stuff!!!"

<Pose Tracker> Eight York has posed.

"I am... not sure that is..." Lavhi considers Yurika. "I do not think that is the case."

Eight sort of. Looks at her for a moment. She is dubious. But... Yurika comes through again. Yurika doses something entirely different.

"You..."

She opens her mouth, and closes it, when Yurika talks about those dreams. She smiles, softly. "That's very inspiring," Eight says to Yurika.

She is still thinking about it when Yurika enthusesabout Comiket.

The luncheon goes on!!

<Pose Tracker> Hikaru Amano has posed.

Yurika's long rant about the secrets of men gets Hikaru attentively listening. "I know, right? That's what makes em' so fun to smash together like action figures, hehe." She's not too shy about what her doujinshi are actually about, it seems.

Riika mentions that she watched Gekiganger herself, and that gets Hikaru's eyes to light up. "Oh! Really? We should definitely take the time to talk then!" Hikaru could go on for hours, but she condenses it to a few sentences when Eight asks what it's about. "Hot-blood! Fighting! Friendship! Doing what's right! And defeating the Evil Empire, I guess. My personal favourite part is the passionate relationships between each member of the Gekiganger team, though."

Oh wow, Yurika's really excited about Comiket. That's good! It would suck if she had to go alone. "Of course, Yurika-chan~ you'd be my first choice for dressing up as Miss Nanako! Or or maybe even the elusive Aquamarine..." Oops, that might be a massive Akito-related sore spot. But she can see Yurika being totally into it just as much.
