The Anti-Earth Cooperative Federation is a broad organization with one primary goal in the Earth Sphere- the invasion and conquest of Earth.

The Anti-Earth Cooperative Federation consists of the extrasolar Zuvorg Alliance and Balarant Union, and the Jovian Federation, a portion of former ZAFT who didn’t accept the end of the war, the Crossbone Vanguard and the Space Revolutionary Army native to the Earth Sphere. As a whole, the Anti-Earth Cooperative Federation represents a large number of Alien interests and a small group of long displaced Earthnoids and Spacenoids.

The Zuvorg Alliance is the largest force in the Anti-Earth Cooperative Federation, consisting of multiple elector systems - Grados, Pentagona, Le Garite, Windermere, Boazonia, UND, and the Zuvorg themselves. Based in the Zuvorg system, the Zuvorg nation is a highly pluralistic, mercantile society. On meeting other space civilizations, they created a trading network, which developed into the current Alliance over time.

Having made first contact, currently the Zuvorg Alliance is investigating the Earth Sphere and coming to a conclusion about their long-term response. Different groups within Zuvorg proper and within the Alliance in general have very different opinions of Earth, ranging from simple indifference to hopeful trading partners to the belief that Earth is a danger that should be destroyed. As the Zuvorg High Council has yet to come to any agreement or final decision, the various elector systems and affiliated groups are mostly able to do as they will without much central control.

The Balarant Union is an expansionist union consisting of more than a hundred planets, known for absolute loyalty to the idea of the endless expansion of the Union, and Earth is their next chosen target for a proxy war against the Gilgamesh Confederation. Their agents, the Keepers of Order, act in secretive and covert ways in the Earth Sphere to aid in the coming invasion.

The Jovian Federation and Crossbone Vanguard are the smallest aspects of the Anti-Earth Cooperative Federation, but their familiarity with the Earth Sphere and existing bases of operation give them a seat at the table. A number of ZAFT Loyalists, dismayed at PLANT acquiescing to the Federation, have chosen to throw their lot in with the Jovians rather than stop fighting their oppressors- and the Jovians are happy to have more men willing to die for the cause.

The Crossbone Vanguard led by the Iron Mask has gained many of the cast off Sleeves who did not instead go to the Dawn of Fold combined with the resources of the Buch Concern, and have formed a new Spacenoid nation called ‘Cosmo Babylonia’, built around the ideals of Aristocratic Merit. Many of the remnants of Amalgam, having achieved their goals on Earth, have chosen Cosmo Babylonia as their new base of operations. They also have the aid of the Space Revolutionary Army, a faction of hardline pro-Zeon politicians, disempowered by the collapse of the old Earth Federation.

The Anti-Earth Cooperative Federation stands at odds with just about anyone who will not get in line and accept the invasion, but in an organization as large as this, infighting and competing goals are a real risk.

Major Characters

Heinel - Prince Heinel is a man desperate for the approval of his people. Born to an infamous traitor, the only crown prince of the Boazanian Empire struggled all his life against the dishonor his father brought upon his family. To establish himself as someone worthy of the nobility and status that should be his by right, Heinel has excelled in all aspects of military achievement, leading the Boazanian invasion fleet from success to success. His skill has won the admiration of his soldiers, even as his explosive temper and a sense of patience stretched paper-thin by the expectations he strives to meet have inspired fear in all who follow him. At war at once with the Boazania's enemies, the nobility's disdain for his father's tainted legacy, and his uncomfortable position as the empire's rightful heir and all the danger associated with it, Heinel walks a difficult path to prove himself as truly worth of his station, and believes firmly in the righteousness of the Boazanian way.

Himeyuri Oono - The Calamitous Saint of Jupiter, the fact that Himeyuri Oono has found herself in this position of power is rather contrary to her own expectations and the expectations of Jovian society. While she is respected as an engineer, the Jovian Federation sees a woman in a combat role as unacceptable, but that Himeyuri herself is too tainted by her experiences in the Earth Sphere to return to a role suitable for women - too knowledgeable to release into the world, too valuable to simply disappear. For the admirals of the Jovian Federation, the best end for Himeyuri is to die a martyr - something that Himeyuri remains blissfully unaware of, still hoping to retire from the front, marry a nice man, and start on her duty raising a family.

Gosterro - Of the Gradosian Empire’s Demon Death Squad, Gosterro is the worst of the lot. A man whose only joy comes in murder, the cyborg Gosterro is little more than a beast constantly breaking his chains to kill. While utterly uncaring about his subordinates, his wingmen, the cause, or just about anything else but violence, Gosterro has a special place in his heart for hunting down Albatro Null Eiji Asuka- and anyone who manages to survive a fight with him is lined to get a place on his list of ‘My Favorite Murders’.

Key Questions

  • Can you really trust each other?
  • Whose needs will be prioritized when the invasion is complete?
  • Is conquering Earth the end, or the beginning?

Tension Points With Other Factions

Gaia Sabers: Ultimately, the Gaia Sabers want to point the sword of Earth out toward the stars. The AECF takes a fundamentally opposed view of the role of Earth in the cosmos, and accordingly, the two cannot coexist except as enemies overt and covert.

Space Assembly League: This relationship is messy. For every member like Chairman Durandal who's sympathetic to and even willing to work with the AECF under the table, there's someone on the Ring, Luna, or Side 1 who can't suffer these guys to live. Overtly, it's a murder relationship, but covertly it might be something else.

Cathedra: Mutual kill on sight. The leadership of Cathedra overwhelmingly has a background with the known elements of the AECF that precludes dialogue.

NERV: While NERV doesn't really orient on the 'humanoid fighting' side of the problem, a lot of these guys are basically just dropping kaiju on Earth, and that *is* NERV's problem.

Grand Glorious Guard: Yeah there's really no ambiguity about the whole "we're dropping space battle robot beasts on Tokyo" "we're going to hit them with the biggest hammer ever made" thing. There's a little wobble when it comes to organizations like ZAFT remnants or the Space Revolutionary Army, but like, is there really?

Terminal: Nergal considers the AECF an ongoing obstacle to its interests in Mars. If there's a wrinkle here, it's that Terminal's cozy relationship with Zeon creates an indirect resource pipeline between the two organizations that is, itself, mutually compromising.

Dawn of Fold: There's some residual complexity here that's mostly carried over from each organization's ancestors. The Dawn of Fold look a lot like murderous Earthnoid bastards, and the AECF look a lot like the hostile spacenoids who created the material conditions Dawn of Fold members consider a problem. They don't actually disagree on the worst targets, but there's enough secondary concerns that they can't really form up with each other well.

Satellicon: Despite everything, a lot of Satellicon still has the same problems it's always had with the organizations that go into the AECF.

BioNet: Similar modus operandi, similar goals, and similar enemies go a long way toward making allies of convenience. Amalgam remnants hiding in the AECF are a problem, but probably a problem for later.

Yaman Rebellion: Much like with Gaia Sabers and Dawn of Fold, this is a relationship of pure, direct opposition and fundamentally incompatible understandings of reality.
