Orphaned at a young age, Victoria doesn't remember much of her life before being taken in by the Keepers of Order. She grew into an excellent student of the magical arts, and displayed an unusually high natural affinity for spellcrafting, culminating into an appointment as Sorcerer of Spectrolite at a notably early age. However, seeing her occasional panic attacks as a sign of weak faith, she did not feel secure in handling the responsibility that came with the position. Thus, to ease her into the role, she was assigned to work under a senior Sorcerer to guide her further growth. Though calm and polite to a fault in regards to her peers, she finds it considerably more difficult to maintain her composure among those who do not share her beliefs, quick to become more outspoken and aggressive when she feels in any way disrespected. Perhaps a little too eager to demonstrate her ability and devotion to Ende's will, she relishes opportunities to put her personally crafted Dogmas on display, and prove herself fully worthy of the name Victoria Spectrolite.
Background
Victoria lacks any memory from before the time where she was taken in by the Keepers of Order at 8 years old. As far as she knows, she had a humble and unremarkable childhood as the only child of a pair of farmers living off the land of the planet Al-Warth in the Astragius Galaxy. Until tragedy struck, in the form of arson by bandits, leaving her orphaned and without a home - her lack of memory stemming from traumatic suppression.
Receiving food, shelter, clothing and an education from the Keepers of Order, she took extremely well to her studies, quickly developing a great eagerness for learning all she could. Reading soon became her favored hobby, and she was often found studying on her own in the Keepers' vast libraries even in her free time. It was only natural that she quickly came to embrace the teachings and beliefs of the Keepers, giving her a greater purpose to strive for as a follower of Ende, God of Wisdom.
As she grew older, not only did she consistently score extremely high in magical aptitude tests, she'd even managed to craft a new spell - a Dogma, as the Keepers call them - at the age of 12, a feat unheard of at such a young age. It is around that time that she couldn't help but notice a change in attitude among some of the other Keeper initiates, their kindness and patience suddenly replaced with envy and irritation. She had never treated the training as a competition, and certainly hadn't intended to show off, but she could tell that there were those who perceived it that way. While none dared breach doctrine by displaying outright hostility toward another Keeper initiate, their dislike of her was palpable, not helped by the fact that senior Keepers were by and large overjoyed at seeing her potential bear fruit.
Ultimately, this only spurred her on to continue excelling - to prove her worthiness for all to see, and earn the respect of even those who looked upon her with disdain. And those efforts paid off. Highly irregular though it was, she already came to be considered for a position as Sorcerer at the age of 14, her level of excellence and devotion to the teachings of Ende such that none could rationalize holding back her advancement purely because of youth.
However, at the ceremony of her official appointment, after being granted her Sorcerer's mask and putting it on for the first time, she suddenly felt like she couldn't breathe, experiencing a panic attack and throwing the mask to the ground. Though she was not disqualified from her advancement, she could only imagine what the other Sorcerers present would think of this, and couldn't help but view the inexplicable incident as a personal failing and a sign of weak faith on her part.
Her self-confidence having taken a major hit, it was readily apparent that she wouldn't be able to truly come into her own as a Sorcerer without assistance. And thus, a special arrangement was agreed upon. Victoria, as the newly appointed Spectrolite Sorcerer, was to serve under the guidance of senior Sorcerer Iselia Seraphinite, assigned to be her supervisor until such time as she could feel comfortable in her new role.
With Iselia assigned to further the Keepers' cause in the Earth Sphere, Victoria naturally followed. It may be a bit of a trial by fire for one unused to dealing with people other than her fellow Keepers and their faithfuls, but - as always - she fully intends to excel, no matter what the task.
Resources
Victoria is not only an actual Sorcerer, she's a powerful one at that. A prodigy among her peers, she can invoke a wide array of Dogmas with little effort, ranging from basic telekinesis, to empowering or obscuring support spells, to highly destructive combat magic. When channeled through the core of an Autowarlock, the mechanical constructs used by the Keepers of Order, her spells are magnified to suit mech combat as well.
The nature of her commonly-used spells is where she is the greatest anomaly among the Keepers of Order: their use of Dogmas tends to be of a highly standardized nature, but Victoria has an extremely strong affinity for the very much non-standard category of Shadow Dogmas. Her most powerful spells are all hand-crafted by herself, necessitating the use of a unique model Autowarlock tailored towards her specific needs.
For not being a Newtype or anything of the sort, and not experienced in direct telepathy, her level of mental acuity and general Awareness is on the high end of the scale. Her presence in combat situations tends to be keenly felt by the Awakened - unsettlingly so, as if she's always looking directly at them.
As for physical resources, there are very few she is personally in control of. Though Sorcerers of the Keepers of Order enjoy a strong backing by their organization, in the current arrangement Iselia is in charge of the logistics. Victoria is in charge of research and record keeping, handling the all-important task of studying the Keepers' vast records of knowledge of the known universe to compile data relevant to the situation at hand, and recording additional insights gained during missions.
She does, of course, have one extremely notable personal possession...
Umbra Deenbell
The Deenbell is the pinnacle of Autowarlocks developed by the Keepers of Order, valued and trusted for its stable magical power amplification, and has served as the Keepers' signature mech on the frontlines of battle for the past 30 years. They are fully controlled by a mage's thoughts, perfectly mimicking casting gestures and capable of projecting magic circles from which their Dogmas are manifested.
There are various specialized Deenbell models in existence, Victoria's Umbra Deenbell numbering among them. Hers is predominantly painted black with red and purple accenting - the only part left the same as the standard model is its distinctive golden mask. Its core was specifically attuned towards employing her specialty of Shadow Dogmas, making Victoria the only one who can make full effective use of it.
Powerful dark magic aside, a striking feature of the machine is the black cloak wrapped about its frame, capable of expelling a shroud of mist-like vapor to confound sensors. Normally open in front, the cloak can be closed when the Autowarlock's core is not in offensive use to effectively serve as a literal cloaking device, the machine turning translucent as it retreats to make it very difficult to see and nigh impossible to lock onto.
Furthermore, five multi-colored gems (red, blue, green, yellow and gray) are attached to each of the machine's limbs and on its chest. These are actually a complement of magically manipulated remote weapons known as Element Orbs, 'armed' with high-level elemental Dogmas which can be unleashed at will. Magically shielded, they are difficult to damage and can serve double duty as protective barriers. The orbs remain attuned to the controlling mage whether the machine is being actively piloted or not, meaning that as long as the Umbra Deenbell is reasonably nearby, Victoria could conceivably call upon them while on foot, should the need arise.
Performance-wise, the Umbra Deenbell itself doesn't notably excel in any particular area, but backed by Victoria's monstrously powerful magic, it is absolutely a force to be reckoned with.
