The daughter of a prominent scientist working to catalog and preserve wildlife as part of NERV, Aurora "Auri" Nicholescu spent her youth as her father's assistant before joining the military after the colony drop on Dublin, Ireland. After gaining some renown for her service, Auri earned a place as a test pilot for the a new, transforming unit that the Federation hoped to use to defend their holdings against ZAFT. A recent transfer has her assigned to NERV as part of their defense forces.
