A phenomenon wherein an Angel's physical structure reduces to core fluid upon death. Caused by the destruction of the Angel's core resulting in a violent AT Field collapse, triggering an explosive deluge of blood-red fluid as the Angel's body rapidly deteriorates. The severity of this collapse depends upon several factors, including the scale of the Angel in question, but always occurs upon an Angel's death.
Image collapse also causes a cross-shaped rupture of energy, and the emergence of one or more rainbows. The scientific reason for this is highly unclear.
