A mega corporation in the vein of Nergal, based out of Free Japan with several other offices established throughout the Earth Sphere. Like any good multinational holding company the VTX Union has their fingers in plenty of pies, with divisions and businesses ranging from communications to culinary, but by far it has become best known for its mobile weapon development over the years.
Though they are an independent organization, VTX enjoys a very close relationship with the Earth Federation: current VTX president Dyma Goldwin is not only a renowned Federation war hero and one of the first known "super robot" pilots, but is also close friends with Representative Ame Presbund, an influential member of the Federation Assembly. This has afforded VTX a considerable amount of contracts with the Federation, and while Dyma has a notably fierce tendency to play things fast and loose, many of their interests remain tied to the geopolitical machine -- including a recent run at developing the Federation's next mass production line.
VTX Union is comprised of a number of "Special Sections" on top of their standard business divisions that tend to be tilted towards specific, high-value pursuits. These include:
Special Section 1 - The first and foremost Special Section that answers directly to President Dyma Goldwin; currently overseeing the development of the Gespenst and its variations.
Special Section 3 - The Special Section of misfit toys; a new Special Section devoted to the development of new mechs and management styles, operating semi-autonomously with the goal of becoming financially independent. Currently overseeing Project Terrestrial Next Dream and its prototype weapon, the Tyranado.
VTX has recently merged with Kirishima Heavy Industries and many of their test pilots have been folded into Special Sections of their own.
