Zeon Zum Deikun

Zeon Zum Deikun (0009-0068) was a philosopher and political scientist who later became the leader of the Principality of Zeon, though it was the Munzo Republic during his lifetime. Deikun wrote extensively on numerous topics, including Contolism, a political ethics framework oriented around self-governance and space colonization, as well as the Newtype, a potential evolution of humanity that could come from humanity's movement into space.

Zeon Zum Deikun died a decade before the One Year War, and a member of the Zabi family took his place. Historians consider it highly likely that Deikun was assassinated by the Zabis.

Before his death, Deikun fathered two children, Artesia Som Deikun and Casval Rem Deikun. The latter is better known as Char Aznable.
