Dr. Minerva Ashton is a name that is spoken of with contempt and mild fear in Britannian scientific circles. A genius Royal Scientist whose complete disregard for ethics and safety protocols lead to her termination of contract, Minerva joined up with the Gaia Sabers, who had far less qualms about her work. A talented roboticist, engineer, surgeon, and more, Minerva's stunningly high IQ is only tempered by her ego and tenuous grasp on sanity. Though her skills are multivaried, in her time at the Sabers she has achieved a rather high level of renown and infamy for her management of Cyber Newtypes and has as a result been placed in charge of them, where her bold new strategies are sure to herald change for those under her watch.

Background

Born to the poorer Ashton family in Britannia, Minerva displayed high scientific aptitude from an early age, and was quickly fast-tracked into advanced schooling. She managed to claw her way above her status with her intelligence and propensity for mechanical engineering and energy, working to provide for her lower-class family. To this end, she spent her college years studying on the Macross Galaxy. This was a crucial part of her development - she saw untold scientific horrors during her studies there and absorbed them all like a sponge. Other than that, Minerva has been remarkably consistent throughout her entire life. She is who she is because she always has been this way.

Resources

Minerva is not a fighter by any means - she has theoretical knowledge of Mobile Weapon operation but very little of that actually translates to practical skill. As a scientist, though, Minerva is naturally drawn to the places that will let her indulge in her scientific pursuits to the fullest extent - and naturally, in a time of war, these are organizations that engage in it, such as the Gaia Sabers. Minerva is in the orbit of fighting because those are the circumstances that best allow her to perform her work.
