Situated on South Ataria Island, Macross City is the final resting place of the SDF-1 Macross. Macross City is a politically autonomous Federation holding.
South Ataria Island was also the touchdown point of the Macross when it was Alien StarShip-1, and a considerable amount of research occurred here during the height of the Overtechnology boom.
