Jade Metal-Lyman
Jade Metal-Lyman is a success story. Founded in Australia, Jade Metal was the OCU's largest heavy industrial company for many years. While Schnecke created the WAW standards, Jade Metal created the very first Wanderwagen to be deployed in combat, the Bloodhound-RJ. They had rapid growth and created an intermediary design between the Wanderwagen and the Wanderpanzer, the Greyhound, leading to the creation of the MULS-P standards. The Zenith and its variations were - and still are - some of the most popular wanzer designs in the world.
Unfortunately, they were based in Sydney during the One Year War. While Jade Metal was in no danger of being forced to close because of it, it did dampen their output for several years. Since the Gryps Conflict they have completely recovered and acquired the oversized mobile armour manufacturer Lyman, renaming their company Jade Metal-Lyman.
Jade Metal-Lyman specializes in a balance-oriented design and their units, especially the Zenith, are considered the pinnacle of reliability. They have occasionally made specialized machines such as the Zaigaut or successor machines such as the Zaigs, but it's demand for the Zenith that keeps them in business.
These days, aside from land transportation systems such as trains and cargo trucks, Jade Metal-Lyman is an almost exclusively military producer.
