Image Feedback System

The Image Feedback System is an uncommon unit interface that consists of a modest injection of nanomachines which concentrate in a prospective user's hands. This allows a certain degree of direct control over the unit, rather than requiring the use of a conventional interface. Due to side effects, including increases in aggression and general emotional dysregulation, the technology is relatively unpopular on Earth; a handful of Federation units are optimized for its use, but the same body modification taboos that make Coordinators unpopular make IFS similarly unpopular. As a result, it is most common in nations that also tolerate Coordinators, such as the Orb Union.
