A mobile weapon with a V-fin and a head shape within a certain relatively narrow range of head shapes.
Adherence to this form factor is required for entrance to the Gundam Fight, due to the need to claim an opponent's head to eliminate them.
The first Gundam-type mobile suit was designed by Tem Ray in the late 0070s, and went on to be an instrumental figure in the Federation's victory in the One Year War.
