Once executive officer to Eight Orlodhari on the 'Ra Mari' and 'Ra Mari II', Enba Rezza has since assumed their own command. They are calm and collected, the ideal officer in many respects--but their spymaster ways look different in an active Captain. They look three steps ahead, and don't say much until they reach the fourth. Their leadership skills are sharp, but they focus more on strategy and tactics than charisma. While they come from Earth, they see no issue with an organization primarily concerned with Space, and indeed would argue that a holistic approach to the Earth Sphere is necessary to succeed in the modern world. Talk of a 'Blue Earth' annd other arguments like it stem from emotion too much for Enba's sake. Having stepped out from behind the curtain, they have adapted to being open authority, and with the assistance of their own XO Licia Chovan, they aim to make the Izumo-class 'Uzume' a major asset to Magallanica and Terminal.

Background

Born in the AEU shortly before the One Year War, Enba Rezza was lucky to survive the unrest in their early childhood. Their parents were doctors, and they were often kept busy with everything going on in Enba's early life. However, tragedy would strike in early childhood; due to an accident, and then a transfusion of tainted blood, their mother died when they were still young. Raised primarily by their father thus, Enba would turn out to be a child who valued precision and stability above sentimental concerns, even before adolescence.

Their family history would inspire Rezza to want to do something for the world, but the increasingly mercenary nature of the AEU's forces did not sit right with them. Their interest in sciences suggested they might become a researcher, which was a path not entirely dissimilar to their mother's, but to the surprise of friends and family both, at sixteen Enba chose to continue their education in a colonial academy on Londenion, whereupon they would join Londo Bell.

The truth is that they didn't want to be a mercenary, but did want to make a difference; their complex relationship to the Federation seemed best served in an autonomous force. However, they didn't count on just how inconvenient Londo Bell turned out to be, and were nearly inclined to leave when their tour was up. An assignment to the Ra Mari under Captain Zaress Ulyse would prove an opportunity to broaden their horizons, but tragedy struck on an assignment to Winter Wonderland; while their mentor the Captain didn't survive, the young Comms Officer Eight York did, and she saved Enba's life that day. Enba in turn helped organize the ship under the acting Captain.

When the crew of the Ra Mari defected at the failed invasion of Orb, Enba Rezza was promoted to Commander under the Three Ships Alliance. On the 'Ra Mari II', they would continue to operate as XO and effective spymaster for Captain York through the formation of the 3SA. In mid 97 they are instrumental in repelling the attemted coup by the Sleeves.

When Captain York goes on maternity leave, Enba Rezza takes over as acting Captain. When Eight ends u focused on ngotiations with the Federation, Rezza continues to oversee matters as regarding the 'Ra Mari II' and its needs, as well as matters in the Alliance as a whole.

In the wake of Terminal's foundation, Rezza was finally given command of their own in May 0098, the Izumo-class battleship 'Uzume'. Assembling their own crew for this purpose, officially part of the Magallanica Defense Force, Rezza chose the helmswoman Licia Chovan for their executive officer, and set to work, primarily dealing at first with pirates and other lawless elements on Side 3.

Trouble with NUNE was sure to follow.

Enba Rezza is not /the/ spymaster of Terminal, but is a highly adept intelligence officer and maintains a significant footprint in the organization. They are an officer in good standing with the Magallanica Defense Force, and draw a Captain's salary and prestige, with command of their own ship and commensurate mobile suits. Their contacts in schools in the AEU, Londenion, and NUNE give them additional sources of information, and of course they have ultimate discretion in carrying out the orders the Admiral and other officials give.

They have cultivated a number of other contacts through hobbies and other interests--and how many of those are 'real' interests is a secret.
