Boddole-kun!! began as a thirty-nine (and counting) book light novel series written by a half-Zentradi, half-Japanese author, Hiroki Gurg (who resides in Hiroshima). It focuses on a high school student who, after being hit by a truck and dying, reincarnated as a (very, very, very fictionalized and fictionally handsome) version of the Zentradi leader Boddole Zer and decides to reform Zentradi society from within. It is bafflingly popular.
