Diablo

Internal terminology used in spacenoid Newtype labs to refer to a Newtype with exceptionally high compatibility with remote weaponry, especially those whose use manifests effects that cannot be reasonably extrapolated from known hardware performance.

There is some internal debate whether a Diablo is a Newtype with the SEED Factor, simply a Newtype with unusually strong quantum brainwaves, or some other as-yet-unknown quality.

Currently primarily used in ZAFT Newtype research documents and battle retrospectives; most researchers who use the term no longer work with the Republic of Zeon.
