Deep Space Survey and Development Organization

A neutral scientific organization dedicated to the exploration of deep space. With offices all over the world in both Federation-friendly and neutral territory, the DSSD produces a variety of space-related mobile units and escort machines. It has a fairly significant number of top-level researchers in many fields.

Its current key projects include the Stargazer Project, which uses a unique propulsion system well-suited to low-cost long-term operation, and Project Terrestrial Dream.
